happy sleepover saturday! i'm doing alright - has been a busy fall with lots of work and school stuff. last week has included having to turn down an internship offer, a bunch of overdue work i need to do, canceled dnd, and a weird platonic/romantic situation i'm figuring out so i'm in a bit of a weird headspace but, like, mostly good problems to have i guess.

i went to a fancy stationery store downtown to browse on friday and that was really fun! truly felt like pen nerd wonderland <3

14. Does your character value promises? Are they good at keeping them?

sum - does not really value promises, but works hard to keep the ones that [they remember] they've made

hathym - he really values promises. because of this, he intentionally makes few of them.

22. What kind of person would they never side with?

sum - if you had any hand in making ehas what it is today, politically? magically? socially? it hates you. i'm just now realizing sum is an anarchist

hathym - at the point that the campaign starts, they're having a crisis of faith about their nation and god at the same time, so he absolutely does not know. oh to have that kind of certainty

33. How do they feel about the unknown?

sum - right now, everything, including its own mind, is the unknown. it fucking sucks.

hathym - loves the unknown and the open sea. he wishes he could get back to that feeling of awe and wonder more often

Happy sleepover Saturday!! I hope i’m not too late!! I, as a surprise to no one am sooo back in ehas mode! So, if it isn’t too much of a spoiler, any Sum songs?? Anything in particular that you’re excited about to get into with them (thoughts about pc relationships, etc)?? I hope you’re having a good night!!

i'm sooo excited to be back in ehas mode, i will be mainlining campaign playlists all week and i'm so ready but also not ready enough?

ooh not sure if i've shared these already but some sum songs! glass house - screaming females, from underground - mook, and fixed it! - thao & the get down stay down

i think one thing that will be challenging about sum is that uh. thi is very nice? sum is not (intended to be) very nice, i think it'll be abrasive no matter what because like. sword of arcanum. possessing their dead friend's body. backup pc. which is really exciting! if i can pull it off i think that sum is very similar to some pcs and is going to clash hard with others. watching that aierdyn and pebble conversation right outside kristina's office? "i couldn't see someone else walking around like her [thi]. it would be too painful"? GOD i'm so excited for how that's going to play out. i'm also curious what this might do to the green team/gunmetal team split tbh.
