HOUSE OF LASHES : THE GREAT & THE MEDIOCRE Ok I will admit it. I am a Falsies Eyelash Addict. There is just something about big, full, beautiful lashes that always make my #motd and #ootd look flawless. I have experimented with various different brands of affordably priced falsie lash companies. The one company that always came out on top has been Ardell. Then I heard about a rival company who sells their eyelashes at double the price of Ardell with a double longevity wear promise. This company is called House of Lashes . Their instagram following is huge and their followers are totally cray-cray for them. The lashes that kept making the rounds in pix were always "Iconic", "Bambie" and " Smokey Muse". Bambie and Smokey Muse run in the price range of $9 per pair while Iconic is apart of the Premium Luxe Lash collection which is priced higher at $12 per pair. I opted out of getting Iconic because of the price range and I discovered the custom 3 pack lash collection option. Specifically with the custom 3 pack for the Best Sellers Collection you save around $5 than if you purchased them individually. I purchased Bambie, Smokey Muse and Wispy Temptress. For starters, I first used Smokey Muse. It was AMAZING . The lashes were full, beautiful and the lash line was thick! I didn't even need to use that much lash glue--they applied easily and flawlessly. I didn't even have to use the blow dryer to set them! I used them at least 8 times before they began to look worse for wear! Never have I been able to wear lashes that look just as new as the day you got them like I did with this brand. Excited, I moved on to the lashes of Wispy Temptress and Bambie. I must say that I am very disappointed with the payoff. Wispy Temptress was done after two uses. Bambie barely made it through 3 uses. They were made similar to the Ardell brand except I honestly believe that the Ardell Demi Wispy Lashes tend to last a little bit longer! The moral of the story is that some lashes in House of Lashes were constructed better than others and some have less usage than Ardell. I will be trying out their Premium Luxe collection, specifically "Iconic" since it has sooooo many fans and celebrities look simply stunning in them when they pop them on their eyes on a daily basis. Plus I am a lover of hollywood glam & flirty lash looks combined so maybe it's time I tried on the "Iconic" look. Well that is all for now! Tips

 If your character has glasses, you do not need falsies. You may not even need mascara. Just use eyeliner to create the shape and effect of there being lashes swooped along. Make sure that the lines are solid if you are not applying mascara. 

This can also be done if you do not want to mess with falsies and do not have glasses. just make sure to add some fake lashes if you go with this.

If you absolutely cannot get the other eye done, add an eyepatch/bandage/fringe. Of course, this cannot be done with every character. If your character does not regularly have an eye covered and you want other people to know who you are without asking, you need to wear a cannon/popular outfit for that character. so, if you  have that eye covered, they still know who you are and assume that you have an "au" costume.
