Rusty would make Fun of his Younger Bro Rocky for Not sounding so "Manly like him"...
Thank goodness it is Friday. My Friday started out with a lovely walk through the waking city to the office. At morning tea I walked down to get my bike from the bike shop. Puncture repaired I had the ride home to look forward to. Lunchtime had a chilly strong wind blowing so I walked in the gardens, seeking out sheltered pathways. After work I headed to Mum's to say hi how are you. On the bike again and off home into the chilly easterly wind. I got just a little over half way when the rear end felt swishy and down went the back tyre again. I managed to walk another couple of blocks before the tyre did its best pancake impression. I had texted Hubby who replied he was just heading through town and would not be long. He was long, very long, 47minutes long but he arrived and put the bike on the bike carrier and gave me a ride the rest of the way home. Thank goodness it is Friday. Oh did I say that already.
First Park Run of the year done. Got back to the car. Flat tyre 😭. Now waiting to be rescued.
Rescue helpline lady: have you got some ID with your name on?
Me: I’ve got my park run barcode??
Helpline lady: that’ll do

I’m just standing on the side of the road waiting for a ride.
