Fun fact Mab (Sylveon) started and was the admin for an Ash Ketchum fan message board to try to buffer his popularity in the midst of his campaign to shut Team Rocket down. Because you know they'd try propaganda to turn people off to the crime-fighting effort.

She anonymously started the board, both to lend her boyfriend — and justice for Pokémon — a hand, and as a hobby. She had fun with it.

Oooh, those are a great start! I love Alto and MaskLiko! I yap about them both quite a bit lol. I drew art of the latter, just a few days ago! Heroes is a great movie. I love the playful romantic energy the movie gives them even without Latias speaking a single line.

(Granted I'm a big "Pokémon talking" enthusiast, but still! Impressive!)

What I'm thinking of lately... Chiko (Ash x Bayleef) probably has my attention the most, right now. I watched Bayleef's focus episodes through around a year or two ago and they're so cute??? God. I did not realize how reciprocal it felt beyond the dino's general reputation of having a crush. They have very similar straightforward and stubborn personalities, it's cute. I'm actually working on a lil fic about them, now.

I'm also a big fan of Pikashipping (Ash x Pikachu); a friend of mine and I used to write them together and their chemistry is just too good. Obviously they work as platonic best friends, but I love the idea of adding some romance into the mix. I can see Pikachu being very protective of Ash; he's not particularly jealous about other partners, since I don't figure he cares about that, but he would be supremely salty if someone tried to upstage their bond, outright. He loves his Pikapi!

I have a lot of humanpoke pairs tbh, I don't think I could get through them all in one ask. But I have a funny soft spot for Ash and Serena's Sylveon; or at least mine and my friend's fanon portrayal of her! I leaned into her finding comfort in Ash pre-evo, with how cowardly she was gravitating towards his comforting presence. (Like half the cast of XY lmao.) But the second she evolves, her personality does a complete 180. Luckily, it's no Charizard case; instead of breathing flames at him, Mab (Sylveon) decides she wants him and he is going to know about it!
