So I couldn't get the concept from my Lomei post out of my head, so here are the 12 original Sages. They we're the ones who found the ore that turned into the Secret Stones when they touched them.
Starting from the middle where the two main Sages are.
Cuivé - Sage of Light. Daugher of the Zonai Leaders. Very technological.
Sirche - Sage of Space. Son of the Lomei Elders. Very diplomatic.
Zoluhr - Sage of Time. Zonai who founded the Lanayru Mining Facility in his youth. His parents were the ones who invented the first robonts seen in Skyward Sword. Grandfather of Kvádra. Unofficial mentor of the Sages.
Kvádra - Sage of Water. Prankster extraordinaire. She takes advantage of the "innocent and serene" image people have of her and gets away with most pranks. Blohst is the only one who can see through her every time and she adores that. She build the Skipper the Sailor Captain Robot. Granddaughter of Zoluhr.
Blohst - Sage of Wind. Zonai youth, who still need support heels. Very tired of Kvádra's bullshit but he will still cover her tracks most of the times. Mostly because the pranks are harmless, but also because she typically aim them at people who are snobs. He will proceed to found the Sky Diving Trials when older, and the outfit rewards will be inspired by his shirt. Son of Janide.
Glen'ta - Sage of Forest. Scholar. Engaged to Yorden, whom she met when they shared a tutor.
Yorden - Sage of Earth. Scholar. Engaged to Glen´ta, whom he met when they shared a tutor.
Janide - Sage of Spirit. Logistics expert. She can pack nearly twice as much as you'd expect in whatever container you'd hand her - and if her buttons are pushed too far she'll pack a mean punch. Mother of Blohst.
Muerqer - Sage of Shadows. Sky inventor. During the Great Escape from the Depths, Muerqer realized the Forces of Demise were getting closer faster than they were fleeing, and so they deliberately fell behind and set up traps and decoys before hiding. Afraid that they would accidentally lead the monsters too their friends and family if they left their hiding place, they dug deeper into the small cave they had taken refuge in - filling it with traps and decoys of all kinds, and in the innermost chamber they sealed themselves away, binding their soul to their Secret Stone until someone worthy would find it...
Naydra - Sage of Ice. A humble lady, who dyed some of her locks blue. During the Great Escape she along with Dinraal and Farosh took the decision to swallow their Secret Stones to try and maximising their elemental powers, since those were the ones most suited for battle, not aware of it resulting in the draconification (since they were the first ones).
Dinraal - Sage of Fire. A sassy lad, who dyed some of his locks orange. During the Great Escape he along with Naydra and Farosh took the decision to swallow their Secret Stones to try and maximising their elemental powers, since those were the ones most suited for battle, not aware of it resulting in the draconification (since they were the first ones).
Farosh - Sage of Lightning. An energetic lady, who dyed some of her locks yellow. During the Great Escape she along with Dinraal and Naydra took the decision to swallow their Secret Stones to try and maximising their elemental powers, since those were the ones most suited for battle, not aware of it resulting in the draconification (since they were the first ones).
