In fairness, all they know is the GA Amelia, and she doesn't hold a candle to PP Amelia, who should be happy in LA with James.

I will spend the rest of my days bitching about how GA ruined her story. I treat this as fanfic tbh 😂 I don’t accept this mess. No one in their right mind would exchange THAT life in LA for this crap :/

Not good writing because the show has been on so long it’s already told every interesting story it could. I really liked Amelia with James and I’m still bitter that they ruined that for Grey’s.

Yep, they were very incompetent regarding her. They couldn’t write her and because of that she got a tumor to pretend like she was so ooc because of that. So stupid.

Yup. They could’ve brought her on to guest star for an episode when/after Derek died (and James could’ve even been with her!), and then that’s that. Everyone on PP had a nice ending, and it just sucks that the screwed with Amelia’s just to bring her on Grey’s. And look at it now? Grey’s longevity really has ruined everything for a lot of characters and couples.

It really bothers me the way she’s been handled in Grey’s tbh UGH. Like how could they do this to Amelia Shepherd??????

Thanks guys!! As for what I did, weight watchers and recently I got a fitbit, so I’ve been trying to walk as much as I can. It’s working!!

First, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to those who left me comments on my previous post (andopando, lord-rupert-everton, flawbulous, suchordinarythings, and friends-look-like-fun.) They are much appreciated.

I really felt like shit after that woman said what she said. I know that she probably would have called anyone who was in my position and slightly overweight a “fatass,” but it really hit me hard after working so hard to get in control of my weight and body. I’m still super self conscious of how I look and that was pretty much one of the worst things for me to hear.

I’ll put what happened after a “read more.”

What happened was I was looking for face moisturizer and a woman, I’m not exactly sure what her nationality was so I’m not going to speculate, she was shopping with her four children. They were very well behaved, and the woman was looking around, when this other woman comes by and tells the kids to “get out of her way” in a nasty voice. The mother then said, “Please don’t talk to my children like that,” and then the woman went off. “Just go home, we don’t need your kind here.” “People like you are what’s wrong with this country” “You shouldn’t even be a mother.” “You gypsy piece of shit” “You disgusting fatass” “Go to your home country and get out.”

Those were just a few of the comments I can remember the woman spouting out. The mother, she was pretty calm the whole time. The kids just started walking away, but the mother stood her ground and said no, they can stay where they are and keep browsing. This just angered the other woman even more and caused her to say more horrible things.

I kind of froze and just stood there because I really couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I don’t witness things like this too often, and she was really horrible. Finally, she started walking away and mumbled, “people like you steal, I should watch and make sure you don’t take something.” She didn’t stick around to watch. 

I felt horrible that I didn’t say anything, honestly, I felt kind of sick. I went to the checkout line and the woman was checking out a few lanes ahead of me. I gave her a nasty glare as I walked past her on my way to the exit. I noticed she had pulled a security guard to the side and was telling them about this woman with four children who she is sure put things in her purse and stole. I couldn’t just let it go at that point. Note that I hate confrontation, this is very unlike me, I never start things, or get involved, but I could not let this poor woman get searched on top of what she just endured. I went up to the woman and the security guard and said, “Actually, YOU were the problem. The woman was just shopping.” she looked at me blankly and yelled, “I AM THE PROBLEM? WHY DON’T YOU GET YOUR FAT ASS OUT OF HERE YOU ___ (i don’t remember what she called me there and I’m kind of glad I don’t).” The security guard told the woman to calm down and I said, “Yes, she was shopping with her kids and you wouldn’t stop throwing out racist remarks.” The woman looked like she was going to lunge at me, and the security guard just looked at me and said thank you, and I walked out. I was so angry. Angry, sad, hurt and disgusted all at once. 

That’s it. I’m just sad that people like that exist. I will lose the rest of this weight and I won’t be a “fatass” anymore. (I don’t REALLY think I’m a fatass now, but you know..) She will always be a racist bitch.
