⦁ ok so this lil baby girl is Joselyn 'Josie' Lorelei Ashford, daughter to Hades and a human named Claudia Ashford, the daughter of a wealthy New York business tycoon. Claudia was given everything in life, from money to free rides in school, she always got whatever she wanted. All was good until she met Hades and became obsessed, sending Claudia into a spiral. ⦁ Her mother met Hades, and she became obsessed with him. Her life revolved around the God, who eventually up and left her when he was finished with her. Nine months later, Josie was born. ⦁ Her mother, desperate to get Hades to visit again, attempted to drown Josie when she was nine weeks old, hoping to get a rise out of Hades for trying to end his daughter's life. ⦁ Hades arrived, and had Claudia admitted into a mental health facility, where she has remained for all of Josie's life due to Claudia's deteriorating mental health. ⦁ Raised by her aunt, Josie remained close to her mother, despite what had happened. Josie spent many days visiting her mother, listening to her rant and rave about the Gods, and her father. ⦁ It wasn't until Josie was twelve that she actually took her mother's rantings seriously. When attacked by a monster at her local supermarket, Josie was rescued and taken to Camp Half-Blood. ⦁ She realised her mother was telling the truth, and despite her suffering mental health and obsession with the Gods, she was speaking the truth and had done so her entire life. ⦁ Admittedly, there was a little bit of resentment towards her father for what became of her mother- however, Josie does love her father, and is loyal when it comes to him. She understands that the Gods don't work the way humans do, and that she must accept that. ⦁ So basically this lil cutie pie has been here since she was 12, and is now the head counselor of her cabin. She's the sweetest, most caring person you'll meet. She would give an arm and a leg for anyone, and has a maternal instinct that causes her to care for those who are in need. ⦁ Very much a perfectionist, Josie has always strived to be the very best she can be. Pushing herself to limits, sometimes, she's become very skilled with both her ability to fight, and her powers that come with being a daughter of Hades. Even though she doesn't like violence, she appreciates having the ability to protect herself. The way she sees it, the better she is the better she can protect those she cares about. ⦁ she's basically a lil sensitive angel pie who can't believe it herself that she's the daughter of Hades himself
