My favorite Bruce/Dick trope to write is Bruce having a crisis of conscience over how much he loves Dick, but he doesn't deserve Dick, but he's incomplete without Dick, but he's ruining Dick, etc etc.
Especially when Dick's, like, just sleeping.
Bruce is having seven different existential crises and Dick's just snoozing.
It's my favorite to write because it's enrichment for Bruce while Dick gets a break from freaking out about never being good enough.
I just opened this book to verify if it's text or comics (it is, in fact, text with pictures every other page) and in just the first chapter I've run across some of the greatest sentences I've ever read.
Bruce, to Dick: "You look as embarrassed as a cannibal who's eaten his best friend."

Bruce, about the villain of our story, The Cheetah, who Bruce says is the culprit behind the theft of twenty (20) cases of peanut butter: "... the Cheetah craves peanut butter sandwiches the way a dope addict craves dope. When there isn't any bread handy, he eats it right from the jar."*
*Honestly, relatable.
I do enjoy that Bruce's description of the Cheetah's eating habits makes it sound like they're exes. Maybe Bruce wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers, but he will kick him out for eating peanut butter straight from the jar.
That's just in the first chapter, which is an entire 9 pages if you exclude the pages that are nothing but picture.
OK so, yes, The Black Hole was AMAZING!
Also, I really miss the days when PG Parental Guidance didn't just mean "animated character made a fart joke and also we rate nothing at G anymore" and instead could mean "[horror redacted for spoilers]".
Like, "hey, we said Parental Guidance, so parents don't get mad at us that little Timmy got scared of [horror once again redacted for spoilers]!"
Anyway, 10 out of 10 stars. Would fanboy again.
