Woah!? Look at those cars...across from the Q1. Honestly..I don't think the organisers didn't plan transport properly. Mum's a volunteer,we (her & I) are about of several volunteer groups on facebook. The amount of stories we've heard from the fleet drivers is frustating..like it's normal to complain,so meh.. but to hear that some are there for up to 10hours in a car only to realise they aren't getting passengers. But you think about it.. the tram stops right out the front of the games village than travel between helensvale and Broadbeach with every stop in between. Than we've heard that drivers need up to an hour's notice for a job..which seems like poor planning because if your not heading to an event than why not just waste time and explore and you don't really need a car to explore the area. Next time an event like the Commonwealth Games comes,transport needs to be throught of a whole lot better. I feel sorry for the drivers who gave up their paid jobs for their volunteer postion only to find out,it's not as active as they thought it would be. #gc2018 #goldcoast2018 #commonwealthgames #fleetdrivers #channel7 #7news
