This poem is to express the pain of being hurt by someone I once trusted and loved deeply. It reflects the mix of admiration and betrayal I felt—how someone who was my light and hope also became the source of my heartbreak by using my feelings for their own selfish desires. Writing it helped me confront those emotions and turn them into words.
