You always had bad luck with relationships, eversince before you ever had one. Regardless if it's something you weren't sure if it's a relationship,nor if you were girl on the side, or even when you hooked up with someone on and off, or weren't given a real chance, or anything else like that, or other bad stuff happens in the relationship (or something else), or even when someone asks you out when exchanging phone numbers to you (especially false promises that they'll call you), usually it's either the relationship never happened, or a break-up happens (usually you on the receiving end of getting dumped), or anything else bad that has ever happened to you! You were even lucky to have the relationship you were having for over a few years, so during your relationship with (recent ex's name) at the time, you had became friends with Loki.
When you first met Loki, you started to notice that he was a little stalkerish, since he laid eyes on you, even when you told him you have a significant other, however when you asked him nicely to stalking you, you both had an understanding, when he smiled and said, "Why didn't you say so? You could have asked me to stop and I'll stop! Telling me you have someone won't stop me, but what I'm saying is asking me nicely to stop it is all you need to do, darling...", that's when you and Loki became friends. Even though you and Loki did have some heated disagreements about (recent ex's name), who was your significant other at the time, however despite that you both are still good friends. Even though Loki didn't want to say anything, until he feels the time is right, however he could sense you bad abandonment issues, especially with past relationships.
One day, on one of the biggest days of your life which was on (up to the reader's imagination on why it was one of the biggest days of your adult life), (recent ex's name) called to tell you that it's finally time to break-up with you after a few years. You had tried begging and begging for your significant other to stay and even tried fighting for (him/her/them) to stay, but nothing was enough to convince (recent ex's name) to stay as ((s)he/they) said, "I guess this is why no one wants you enough to even stay with you! You're lucky I put up with you, as long as I did, because who the fuck else would put up with someone like you, for this long! Seems to me like there had always been something wrong with a curse, like you! No wonder most of those break-ups involve them dumping you! You never put effort for me, you selfish garbage, because is what I think of this made up thing called "self-care" as made up excuses to be fucken selfish! Have a nice life you pathetic worm, because everyone will eventually leave a piece of trash like you!", before (recent ex's name) hung up on you! All you could do was hide in the bathroom and cry, before you left wherever you were to go back to your place.
A few days went by Loki hasn't seen you and usually he sees you everyday that you go somewhere. Typically, he would see you about three to five times a week (if not everyday of the week), so for him to go a few days without seeing you, especially by accident, was definitely unusual and he knew something bad must have happened, so he decides get on his way to your place as he mumbled to himself, "I have a bad feeling that, (Any Gender Reader) is going through something tragic... I'm going to get to the bottom of this, one way or another... Even, if I have to kill someone, myself!". Once he got to your place, the door was locked, he tried to knock on the door, no answer (even tough he knows you're in the house and sleeping in your room, he instead of continuing to knock on the door he decided to (up to the reader's imagination on how he broke into the reader's house).
When you were waking you, you heard a voice saying, "Finally you woke up!", as you see Loki standing there with his arms crossed with a pissed off look on his face, as he exclaimed, "I haven't seen you in public for a few days, I will get it if you're sick or get annoyed with the routine of me seeing you or you seeing me so much, but it's not the case now is it, dear! I know something happened to you that made you want to hide! Tell me or else!". "Why is it any of your concern?! It's not even about you! There's always something wrong with me! That's why everyone leaves a piece of selfish trash like me! I'm not worth your time! Just go away! I don't want to see anyone right now!", you snapped to the point where it caught Loki off guard, at the same time he knew his suspicions about your abandonment issues are true. "Well, well, well... You got quite the temper... My suspicions about your abandonment issues are correct, I just didn't say anything earlier, because I wasn't sure... I'm not leaving, no matter what you say!And who got you thinking those thoughts about yourself? Was it that significant other of yours?", Loki replied.
What Loki said to you, really triggered you more when you snapped more and screamed, "Don't you fucken, get it?! Do you fucken, know anything about me?! And this significant other, I used to have, is my fucken, ex now, if that makes you happy! Maybe everything he said to me during that break-up call was true and even if it made me feel worthless, maybe that's what I need to hear! Maybe every bad thing, especially for how bad my break-ups ended was everything I deserved, maybe I deserved every bad thing to ever happen to me?! Now leave?!", before you got on your knees, turned around, grabbed your pillow, then sobbed on it. What Loki just heard from your own mouth, it only pissed him off, even tough it took everything in him to calm himself down, as he's having urges to kill your now ex on the spot. He genuinely knows now your ex didn't treat you well. He knew there was something about now your ex he didn't like about (him/her/them).
Loki went on your bed, to hug you carefully, as he whispered, "To be honest, as much as I didn't like (recent ex's name) and I warned you ((s)he/they) was bad news, you didn't deserve anything bad to happen to you like this... By the way, when I heard about (him/her/them) throwing you away like that, only pisses me off, as much as I hate to be right about (recent ex's name)... Tell me everything that happened with your life, especially about, what happened with your past break-ups, if you don't mind, darling...". Once you removed the pillow from your face, you explained everything you could remember, especially the abandonment issues you had ever recalled having, including your past break-ups. You even mentioned everything that happened during your call with (recent ex's name) on what was supposed to be one of the biggest days of your entire life.
After you finished telling Loki everything you could remember, you hugged him, crying on his chest, before he wrapped his arms around you, petting your head. As pissed off Loki was at (recent ex's name), considering he never liked (him/her/them) and rightfully so, he couldn't help, but feel sad for you, as he confessed that he also loved someone (obviously, Brunhilde) before and he explained everything that happened between them, even felt rejection, when he saw her and Siegfried, so Loki mentioned to you about his decision to frame Siegfried, by killing one of Odin's dragons, as an attempt to have Bruhilde to himself, which his heart got broken when she ended up hating Loki (and I believe all the other Gods) because of Siegfried's imprisonment. (Up to reader's imagination, if Loki mentions regrets of framing Siegfried or not regretting (or not mentioning either)).
"Yes, it may not sound irrelevant to what happened in your life, however I do know the heartbreak of people not loving you and I know you didn't deserve anything bad to happen to you... It's their loss, if they find a reason to not be with you anymore... Your luck in relationships is only bad, because of all those people choose to treat you badly, so there's nothing wrong with you and something is wrong with them when they treat you like this, meaning you never deserve anything bad to happen to you... I will understand, if you don't ever want to be in another relationship after all of those abandonment issues, the break-ups, and the heartbreaks you had ever went through, but hear me out on what I'm about to say...", he mentioned. You gave him a confused look on your face as you asked, "What do you mean by hearing you out about what you're about to say?". He happily, replied, "This is my hear me out, darling... I have been in love with you for such a long time, even years before you got with (recent ex's name)... I know for a damn fact that I can and will treat you right, so know that if you do get with me when you're ready to, I can't promise to make every bad thing go away, however I can make your whole world better and I can even have you love with me, regardless of what anyone else thinks or even says... I can't promise sunshine and rainbows, but I can show you how you deserve to be treated for the better and I won't even leave your side... You deserve so much better than every bad thing you had ever got...".
Months later you finally felt ready to have a relationship with Loki, as you decided to live with him, in the world of the Gods. Before Loki does take you with him to the world of the Gods, he decided to frame (recent ex's name) in a major crime to ensure ((s)he/they) received (his/her/their) karma that Loki felt ((s)he/they) deserved for how ((s)he/they) treated you and how ((s)he/they) broke up with you, especially on what cruel things (recent ex's name) has said to you, which (recent ex's name) has received the worst punishment ((s)he/they) could ever receive prison wise, over the crime Loki framed (him/her/them) for, because Loki wanted to make (recent ex's name) pay for everything that ((s)he/they) did to you. As it turned out, Loki was right about the positive outcome of you being in a relationship with him and he meant every word of what he said. Most of the days during your relationship with Loki has even turned out to be the best days of your life.
