Friday was a class free day for Lia, and that would have been good for her having into account the state of her neck, if she actually felt like cooking. But thankfully Jake seemed more than alright with bringing her food if he got something out of it. So it was certainly a win-win situation when she took into account how she actually enjoyed the time spent “What kind of pizza did you bring?” she asked, making sure to keep her body hidden by the door because she was close to half naked.

she’s a little nervous to meet him-- tinder, and snapchat was one thing. she could be flirty--without any real risk. and even though when they’d spoken he’d almost immediately put the pint sized brunette at ease it wasn’t enough to quell her fears. it doesn’t stop her though-- fear never has. she can hear her heart in her ears as she walks to the address he’d texted her earlier and when she spots a tall, brown haired figure from the back, her breath hitches. she taps on his shoulder and when the boy turns around-- she offers him a friendly smile. “jake right? i’m bailey-- though--you already know that. and um-- i come bearing hugs?” she bites down on her bottom lip. “and awkwardness.” she let’s out a nervous laugh and tries to focus on the ridiculously attractive man in front of her. she quiets all her worries about where her tazer was (in her purse), wether the tight little black dress was a little too much (it wasn’t) and if he was going to think she belongs in the loony bin with a quick inhalation of breath. “i’m a little nervous. you’re kind of my first... date off the app and i um-- was on a stake out with my best friend-- she’s a private eye--and sometimes i help so i was running late and everything was late and--ooh. sorry. m’rambling.”

He had been excited for her arrival, and also kind of worried because he had driven with a hard on and it was distracting... so it should be the same for her, right? And he would rather she didn’t have an accident because they were both looking forward for sex, though there were stupider ways to get into an accident, right? He opened the door after she rang the bell, grinning at her “That was quick.”

this wasn’t something that she did on the regular, tawney wasn’t a cheater. of course she liked to flirt a lot, but once she was in a relationship .     she was always incredibly faithful. except this time, curiosity had gotten the best of her and here she was, waiting for her boyfriend’s best friend to arrive. when the male first snapchatted her, tawney was completely ready to blow him off and probably would’ve informed alex of his best friend’s flirtations but something changed her mind, the brunette didn’t want to reject him. she would blame that feeling on the male’s confidence and charm. putting down her phone, she smirked to herself, how long has jake liked her to actually race over here in five minutes? tawney found it kind of endearing, if only her actual boyfriend put in that amount of effort. as jake was going to be here real soon, the female didn’t bother changing out of her pajama shorts and t-shirt into something better but she did take her hair out of its ponytail, letting her long locks flow freely over her shoulders. after hearing a car park up outside of her apartment, she knew it would be jake and so she opened the door before he even had the chance to knock. “damn, jake.” she stated. “four minutes and fify five seconds. you must really like me or be really horny.” she added with a laugh as she pulled him into her apartment.

“I think...” Maude leaned into Jake as she spoke, her hands pressed against the bar as she looked down at her finished drink. “I might need a couple more of these things to get through the rest of this night.” She said, changing what she’d intended to say at the last minute. Then, a moment later she went back on it. “And I think this is going well? I mean, I don’t know about you, but I think people are pretty convinced.” She said, smiling before she looked up to him, curious as to what he thought. When he’d first asked her to pretend to be his date for this wedding, she’d thought maybe it was some sort of weird joke. When she found out he was serious, she hadn’t quite wrapped her head around it until after already she’d agreed. There she was, dressed up and on his arm, playing the part as best she could.

I don’t mind at all, Audrey.”  Seth smiled and wrapped his arms around her. “Besides, I enjoy spending time with you and in a few days I won’t get to do that for over a week or two.” He pouted, kissing her cheek. “Look, we can even do the you can take my bed and I can take the couch thing if it makes you more comfortable.”
