Flion in "Ocean's Flame" by Gina Quinsen
This is Citrine Legacy, a member of the Stone Dragon series.
Oranges are another of those color ranges that I don't play with as much as I ought to. Working with them for this project was a lot of fun; it brought out a nice, warm autumn vibe that I ended up really liking. Throw in some highlights of crimson and sky blue, and there we go.
I used Prismacolor pencils and gel pens over a watercolor underpainting, over an ink drawing to do the dragon.
I used lots of 3D bits on this one, too. On the top row are cabochons of chalcedony and agate. In the dark circle are fossil coral stones. Along the bottom are acrylic mosaic tiles and tiger eye cabochons. And of course there are shiny bits (including the pearl-tipped trees).

Newest windstone! A Flion. He needs some patch work. But hell, for 25 bucks well worth it.
