Little!Rumi Headcanons (pt 2)

pt 1: here! - most of these ones are focused a bit more on how being half demon impacts rumi. with cgs mira & zoey ofc! rumi is also autistic because it's canon in my heart. i hope you enjoy !

ᯓ★ rumi's patterns are extra sensitive to light, so she has to be very diligent about wearing sunscreen. little!rumi (and big!rumi) hates this, as she has awful sensory issues with it. rumi tries to run each time but mira and zoey *always catch her. when they finally do, mira will have to hold her and apply it while zoey keeps her distracted so she won't melt down.

ᯓ★ rumi also has to put special lotions on her patterns to keep them from getting irritated. she has a sticker chart for letting them help her in the mornings, and when it's filled - rumi gets to pick a new toy.

ᯓ★ *for a while, rumi has a habit of dematerializing/teleporting away from mira and zoey when they try to make her do something she doesn't want to do (mostly put on sunscreen/lotion). mira very quickly has to establish a "no powers while small" rule, or else nothing would ever get done.

ᯓ★ rumi has fangs come in. they're very small, hardly noticeable. but they're there. teething for her is exactly like it is for any other baby - she gets so fussy, so needy, so upset. rumi spends most of her time snuggled up to mira, clinging to her through the pain.

ᯓ★ zoey gets her a blueberry teether that she freezes to help with the pain. rumi loves it so much and never wants to put it down. she has a hard time understanding why it stops feeling cold after a while and why they have to take it away to re-freeze it.

ᯓ★ rumi has a hard time sleeping in bed alone when she's regressed. she gets a lot of anxiety about mira and zoey leaving her, it feels impossible to be away from them for any duration of time. when rumi naps during the day, she'll lay in one (or both) of their laps, while they rub her back to soothe her.

ᯓ★ little!rumi has a hard time with words. she's minimally verbal, often struggling to even point to what she wants due to her anxiety. thankfully, zoey is very good at reading her and figuring out what she wants.
