Watch out for those spare ribs
Mike and I just got engaged a month ago but my Mom started giving me pregnancy advice a year ago. Maybe even longer. This advice gave me a little chuckle.
Mom: I'm just telling you now but when you get pregnant some of your ribs will pop out. Your body will change shape. So after you have the baby you will have to watch your spare ribs.
Me: Hmm, spare ribs? I'm not sure humans have spare ribs. Do you mean floating ribs?
Mom: Oh yeah, floating ribs!
Me: Haha, spare ribs are things you eat! We have floating ribs.
Mom: (laughing) I don't know what they're called in English! Don't make fun of me!
