Me: It's okay. I don't want any persimmons because I don't like them.

Mom: Just eat 1 or 2!

Me: I don't want to. I don't like persimmons. I've never liked them my entire life. How many times do I have to tell you?

Mom: They're from my tree!

Me: It doesn't matter where they're from! I still don't like them.

Mom: Humph!

A few weeks later, my mom brought over a huge super ripe persimmon.

Mom: We can share it.

Me: It's okay. I don't want any.

Mom: This one is super ripe.

Me: I don't like them. Ripe, not ripe, it doesn't matter. I've never liked them.

Mom: You should broaden your horizons and try more things.

Me: Humph!
