I know you probably meant what pigeon breed bUT SIKE you're getting one of the most famous pigeons of all time! Kaiser the pigeon was bred in Germany in February of 1917. He was sent to the front to serve as a messenger bird in March of that year and was captured with many of his brethren when the war ended on November 11th, 1918. To boost morale and for recruiting purposes, German and American pigeons alike were shipped back to the US and shown off during parades. Kaiser was technically a pigeonly prisoner of war, but he was kept very comfortable and given his choice of mates; having served for more than a year in the trenches without so much as an injury, he was top of his class.

Kaiser was kept in custody and had many successful crops of children with three mates. When World War 2 began, Kaiser was once again called into action (though he was never formally deployed). He survived the war and passed away on Halloween in 1949, after having attended Harry Truman's innaguartion earlier that year. For those keeping track at home, yes, that means Kaiser was 31, which makes him the oldest reliably recorded pigeon in history. There's a joke in the pigeon racing world that Kaiser is the Genghis Khan of pigeons in the united states, since 1 in 10 racing pigeons can trace their lineage to him. Apropos of totally nothing at all, here comes Tulin careening in for a hug with his favouritest brother! Wha-bam!

If not for the flapping of his friend's wings and the delighted giggle moments before impact, Link would have been caught completely by surprise. As it stands, he has a breath of a moment to look up to just catch sight of the young Rito warrior before Tulin makes contact, Link's arms jumping up to clumsily catch the other and keep the both of them from tumbling to the ground.

Happy breath dances from between his lips at the sight of the other, arms returning the hug just as eagerly with a grin splitting his lips. Goddess it's been much too long. Seeing the spectered form of the Rito is nothing in comparison to actually being around him, hearing him speak, and Link squeezes a bit tighter before releasing.

It's always one thing on top of the next, adding just one more thing to the long list of what he has to do before he can actually allow himself a moment of reprieve. It's been too long.

His choicest word cut short in its prime down the middle, and it finally occurs to Revali that this boy, fickle sprite that he is, was most certainly not listening at all. It's that look children have when things start falling out of the sides of their heads mid-lesson: twitchy, fit to burst. The most attentive non-listeners you could ever ask for: Revali had never been good with them.

But that's his answer, isn't it? It comes to him as the stories slip away and the memories replace them at Tulin's probing: he was never good with them, even as a boy himself. He would look down from the Summit and see them all flitting around each other like lovebirds, tying their budding crests into crude knots with clumsy hands.

When did you first start writing? so . . . maybe the way i started was . . . by straight up writing . . . fanfiction . . . of . . . starfox . . . NDKFGJDHFG basically i had this whole version of the entire game and characters that i had created myself , i remember distinctively that dash bowman was somehow the evil one there , like he betrayed the team or something :v idk man , lil apolo had some Thoughts and sometimes i feel nostalgic over it and i'm so so upset i lost that notebook where everything was written in extremely broken english uvu aH . good times . . . perhaps one day i shall venture into those muses again but not today . yknow what imma listen to starfo.x adventures' soundtrack now while i work .

What is your favorite canon muse? okay i already answered this one too but if i get the chance to mention ghirahim i am Gonna LMAO that being said, volga continues to be my #1 boy even if he doesn't come directly from a canon game , and mainly because of how i tied him so strongly to volvagia ( which is already a fandom implied thing anyway ) and how i personally wrote down his origin and backstory . i cling to that angsty dragon man so tightly . i do also have to mention teba though dkfgjdfg i just love him so so much and i know that the games gave him like -10 appeal and the personality of a bland donut but that's why i'm here adopting him and loving him ouuuuu omg i can't wait for you to read what i'm cooking up for his backstory :,D
