floodland is truly one of the best goth albums of all time - the deep synths reverberating in your chest, engulfed in the smoke of an old cigar. steady drum hits against a blaring red neon dive bar sign, reflected on half drunk whiskey glasses in some dank alleyway. the pulse of 80s dark hedonism just bleeds through like no other, against the sleet blanketed landscape of industrialized england.
