While Byleth is proficient in pretty much any weapon and uses a sword most often, after Jeralt's death, they begin favoring a lance as well :]

I saw the ask about Hubert's Goddess Icon, and I had a theory: Hubert 'used to be' scared of ghosts. He might still be. After all, he's killed a lot of people. And vengeful spirits traditionally dislike sacred places and symbols. Whilst he may not believe in the Goddess, he could keep it around to scare off ghosts. After all, they don't know if he's religious or not.

I actually really like this take on this ask! I do imagine Hubert having a lot of ghosts haunting his steps, no matter what he says on the matter, so him using this to deal with that is a thought that I very much like!

Well uh....we sure have reached the new year, haven't we? I'm well aware this blog is technically 2 years old, but I was also inactive for a good portion of this year - not to mention the prompts i still have to write...

Long story short, apologies for the wait. I cant say I'll be able to get to it right away, all things considered, but 2022 will not end up like 2021 - that's gonna be my resolution :)

what if:

hubert wears contacts or uses some dark magic for his eyes to be that bright of a green, and his natural eyes are something really cute and soothing like... eh… dark blue.

To be honest, I actually don't know about this one lol

I've personally believed that either he's always had those bright green eyes, or it was the continued use of dark magic (among other things) that turned his eyes a brighter green, when before they were a dark and warm brown. A sort of unintentional consequence, rather than something he did intentionally.

Though that's just my opinion, this is a pretty neat headcanon too lololol
