ok how did you give yourself vitamin b3 poisoning if I may ask
Okay so I have POTs and so I need like a bonkers amount of salt every day so my body actually uses water for things other than peeing, and one of the better ways to get that level of salt are things like Liquid I.V.s which are just like packs with salt and other electrolytes. The issue is that Liquid I.V.s have a bunch of extra vitamins in them, which would be fine if I was only having the recommended one a day. My doctors told me it was fine to have up to 6 a day.
One pack of Liquid I.V. has 19.5mg of Vitamin B3. The recommended daily amount for someone my size is 14mg. Again, I was having between 3-6 a day. Every day.
Eventually one of my doctors was like "well actually you should probably be careful with all those B vitamins" and I was like oh okay, good thing to look into. And I did. And decided to take a break and not have any for a couple days since I had finally gotten my hands on salt tablets anyway.......and discovered that the brain fog, memory issues, exhaustion, severe daily nausea, abdominal cramping, bloating, and several other symptoms I've been plagued with for the last 6-4 months were Vitamin B3 poisoning.
I feel much better now and probably didn't give myself liver damage which is great, but yeah. Uh....watch out for B Vitamins. They might just be your black mold.
