Finally posting some pictures of my floor! It’s Harry Potter themed, and the residents love it. There are MANY more decorations, throughout the floor, but these are some of the highlights.

I'm working on my door decorations and they look so cute!! I decided on Nintendo-theme so I'm making old original Gameboys for the nameplates!

So as you guys may or may not know, I am going to be an RA for the 2015-16 academic year! I am planning out and doing my door Decs (AVENGERS THEMED!) and I will post some pictures later ;)

Chalk on butcher block paper (art roll) can be a great way to get your residents involved with the floor

For the casino-theme RA, they could try to find "Vegas-themed" fonts, or fonts that look similar to those used for the names of big casinos/hotels in Vegas. Then write the resident's name in that font. You could also print out poker chips (write their names on them) or print out hotel tickets saying they've been "given" X amount of money to spend at the casino (and then give your floor a casino name).
