OC Takeover Week Day 7: Artist in the Attic

Day 7 of OC Takeover Week 2026 on Bluesky. The prompts were body modification or friendship. Kimiko, or Kim as she prefers to be called, is almost a master in the art of tebori tattooing. The only person she'll regularly talk to is Flora Jansen, simply because Kim is more fluent in Dutch than English.
Kim keeps to herself so much that she's indirectly started a rumour about being a stowaway or hostage in an attic on Tristan Island. She tattooed Edgar's right arm after Louise urged him to get one to mark his coming of age. As Edgar doesn't understand Dutch or Japanese, he's left out of the loop here.
Although Kim's standing in such a way that her full appearance isn't seen, she wears a plain set of a truncated kosode, a pair of monpe, and kyahan with zori sandals and tabi socks. The hibiscus on her head was picked from Flora's potted plant just outside their shared shophouse.
