Fanart de Flora y Bloom como brujas, no villanas o como las trix.
A friend of mine sent me my birthday flower description:
Your birthday flower is Fumitory, which signifies caprice. Fumaria officinalis, a member of the poppy family, is also commonly known as earth smoke. Fumitory is native to central and western Europe. It was first described by Linnaeus in 1753. The "smoky" or "fumy" origin of its name comes from the translucent color of its flowers, giving them the appearance of smoke or of hanging in smoke, and the slightly gray-blue haze color of its foliage, also resembling smoke coming from the ground, especially after morning dew. The plant was already called fūmus terrae (smoke of the earth) in the early 13th century; two thousand years ago, Dioscorides wrote in De Materia Medica that rubbing the eyes with the sap or latex of the plant causes tears, like acrid smoke does to the eye.

I’ve realized something.
I’m going to college to be an artist. So why not do witchy stuff with art? I can bless and cleanse my paints as well as paint with intent. I can also draw runes on my canvas’s then paint over them!
Hi, if it’s not too personal—what does it mean that Flora has moved on from you now? I’ve seen other witches say this about their deities and as someone who has a background in Christianity (not Christian anymore), it confuses me slightly if that makes sense? Thanks for your time!
Hey lovely anon! 🌟
I understand your confusion, I remember being baffled and frankly a bit upset when I felt Flora ‘waning’ from me. I thought I’d done something wrong to offend Her, or alike. But this wasn’t the case. You may have heard other pagans saying their deity moved on from them because they had learned the lesson that the deity wanted to teach. I think this is probably the most common explanation, although I don’t doubt that you could offend a deity to an extent that They leave.
When I first found Flora I identified as a secular witch, but I stumbled upon Her and instantly felt drawn and began my worship, I just felt that I needed to. At the time, I had been yearning for ‘proof,’ I didn’t believe in deities but I wanted to, and that’s when I found Flora. In hindsight, I believe I was called to worship Her as a way of bringing me into paganism in general, She was my gatekeeper, if you like. I needed a gentle, approachable goddess who I could relate to and that was Flora. There was nothing intimidating about Her, it was a very painless way to finding my faith. When I found Her, my abusive mother was still living with me so naturally I was way too intimidated by the more dominant goddesses, like Hecate, for example. Any aggression or power to Them and I couldn’t deal with it because it reminded me of my mother. They scared me too much. But Flora became my mother, my sister and my best friend all in one. I was only 14 or 15 years old. I really fell in love with Her. I would find Her everywhere in my life. I think She likes books quite a lot, I’d usually flick to random pages in books in shops and there She’d be, Her name smiling back at me.
So to finally answer your question, She drifted from me because She had taught me everything she needed, I had served Her and our relationship was complete. Now, She’s my eternal ‘lover,’ I’ll always be smitten with Her and celebrate Her festival, Floralia, for example, but our relationship is no longer so intense. I don’t call to Her in ritual, or regularly pray because that’s not our relationship anymore. It’s calmed, and I’m sure She is being served by others. I did nothing wrong, it’s just the aim of our relationship had been reached so She moved into the distance.
I know this is long-winded but I always gush when I start talking about Her. Feel free to message if you have any further questions.
Bright blessings!💫🌻
Good Luck Spell Jar 🍀
So my roommate/friend has mentioned to me for months that she’s felt like she’s had bad luck her entire life. I wanted to do something to change that for her, so I poured myself into this chaotic beauty!
—
Ingredients Used (feel free to add or take away any!):
• Sea Salt (for protection, courage)
• Himalayan Pink Sea Salt (same as above)
• Orange peel (for luck, prosperity)
• Rosemary (for protection)
• Lavender (for long life, peace, love)
• Black pepper (to banish negativity)
• Oregano (for joy, strength, vitality)
• Sage ashes (for wisdom)
• Basil (for harmony, peace)
• Bay leaf (I made a wish on it before I crushed it)
• Dried Pink Rose petals (for happiness, admiration)
• Edible pearl dust (for fun — I tailored this to her a bit!)
**I don’t include quantities of my items for my jars, because I believe you should make it your own!!**
Additional Items:
• Small chunks of Aventurine, Tiger’s Eye, and Crystal Quartz (for luck, protection, healing, clear mind)
• A penny from the year she was born
• White candle (for protection)
—
1. Mix the salts and add to the bottom of the jar as the first layer.
2. Add rose petals as second layer.
3. Mix black pepper, bay leaf, basil, and rosemary. While doing this, I chanted: “Little spice, little spice, grinding up so fine and nice. My gratitude I can’t repay, bring <name> some good luck today!”
4. Then add the herbal mixture to the jar as the third layer. Then a layer of rose petals, another layer of the herbal mix, the sage ash, and orange peel. I then added a generous amount of the edible pearl dust.
5. Step 5 wasn’t planned, but it felt right. I then shook ALL of the ingredients in the jar together, mixing up the layers. I wanted to show her that although her life seemed chaotic, it could still be beautiful and end up positive 💓
6. Add chunks of crystal to jar.
7. Add a layer of lavender with a bit of sea salt. Put the penny on top and seal the jar with white wax. While I sealed the jar, I repeated my intentions — luck for my buddy, of course!
8. I then drew a good luck sigil on the outside of the bottle. Charged and ready to go!

That’s really it! The pearl dust gets all over the inside of the bottle and adds the most beautiful GLITTERS when in the sunlight! ☀️ Questions, comments, suggestions? I’d love to hear from you witchy babes!
* Not the best looking, but it definitely has the most love and energies poured into it! ✨
* credit goes to @black-raven200 for the sigil!
I overwintered my wisteria shoots (Helen and Melody) last August and the warm weather is bringing them back. Today is a blessed day!
