Upon hearing her name and seeing who had called it, Elysia’s expression brighten considerably. She met the boy halfway, hurrying over to him. It wasn’t often that Fin approached her first, which was fine! She didn’t mind making the first move when it came to him, understanding it was hard for him to open up. Despite that, she was overjoyed at he had came to find her, even if that joy only lasted momentarily.
“Bandages? I keep a few in my satchel just in case. I can’t really heal, so it’s something–ah!” There she went rambling as per usual. Quickly, she nodded her head, digging into said satchel while she continued talking. “But sure, I don’t mind letting you have some. Do you…want me to help you?”
Elysia never treated Fin that much differently after he told her about his past. There wasn’t much for her to console him. She never experienced heavy loss like that, never carried such a heavy burden upon her shoulders. It wasn’t like she could tell him to cheer up, get over it, live on. All she could do is treat him a bit softer than she had before.
Holding the bandages in her hand, her eyes met his and a small smile appeared on her lips. “I promise, I’ll be careful.”
There was a lot of hesitation coming from the boy as he had his mouth open for a second before closing it. A lot was going through his mind as his icy blue eyes focused on the older woman and at the red cloth covering his arm.
“Um... y-you don’t need to heal me. I-I only need bandages, that’s all.” Finally he spoke with his hand still clinging onto his arm. Yes, he told Elysia about his past and how much of it messed with him, but he was still reluctant with her.
Even more so when she insisted to help her. Just why did she had to ask? He really was hoping she wasn’t going to do so. He would be fine with her giving he bandages, but wrapping them... it scares him.
“Um....” He quietly mutters as his eyes instinctively look away from her. Trying his best to bite his own anxiety away as he stood in her presence, his cold fingers tighten before slowly pulling away.
