today i spent 12 hours at school and in those twelve hours i took one test, one pop-up quiz, and had two fire alarms go off - both of which were not drills and fire tucks actually came. needless to say i was totally panicking but i’m okay and living. phew!!

i made this delicious breakfast today and an hour later i was on the ground sobbing. i think everything is just too overwhelming and i needed to take a break.

learning songs on the ukulele is a great stress reliever! i also convinced my mom to allow me to buy dodie merch that i have been eyeing for forever but always seemed to be out of stock.

i’m having another snow day tmr and we srsly need to get our act together and clean the streets and parking lots man. i also have a bad habit of taking photos when the sun is right about gone so they always end up grainy or out of focus >.<

the golden globes was p historical last night but being the st fanatic that i am, i’m kinda upset they didn’t win anything. my happiness was redeemed by oprah though. because yes, the #times is up.

last night i had the spontaneous decision to do some work in a sketchbook and “break it in” and it’s pictured here.

a quick reminder that you don’t need anything from muji or any brush pens or even use a bullet journal to be a studyblr. the point of a studyblr is to motivate others to study and be productive, and in NO way does that = having stationary.

🌸 DAHLIAS ✨ I’ve wanted to paint dahlias for a while now - their perfect round floral faces and gorgeous colours are a feast for the eyes!! I was so excited when I spotted them at the flower market this week ☺️ I’ve been focusing on painting a few colour studies to capture the essence of them (planning to paint some larger paintings with them).
