Dalamus peered up at Nimthia, pulling his eyes away from the makeshift splint he was attempting to create--but it was difficult to do one-handed. Despite the minor injury, it was mildly embarrassing to be caught vulnerable in any sense of the word.

“It is only a broken finger.” Or two. “Nothing I have not handled before.” Many times. He was getting better at restraining and redirecting his anger when provoked, but some people just knew how to press all the wrong buttons. The other guy’s jaw was like stone, though, and an impulsive punch still led to broken fingers or bleeding knuckles despite vampirism.

It looked like a 10-year-old had half-assed a drawing of a.. horse? Or seal? Oh! It was a dog! Hyacinth, probably. ‘Beautiful’ might have been a stretch for an apt description, but Dalamus sure seemed proud of himself.

“Well, I’m glad I was. I would hate to hear I had been cruel to someone,” he replied, and held out a hand for her to shake should she choose. “My name is Bo, by the way. I can’t recall introducing myself before.”
