worth noting though that even in marathon format s4 was boring as hell and only had about five decent episodes (all MoTW)
oh boy that does not surprise me. if I were ever to rewatch s4 for some reason, I would stick solely to the episodes where sam did psychic shit and ignore everything else. see also: my plan for s7 this week (for fic reasons) is to rewatch everything where sam is crazy, ignore everything else

haha I was just thinking about that! there's no time to linger on all the bullshit and fester in grumpy bitterness when there is the next episode to watch!! maybe this is how it feels for people who started watching the show in the later seasons... maybe the whole series feels coherent and cohesive and there doesn't seem to be any glaring shifts in tone and style... wow
