I wish you the best of luck. I also came to the UK as an undergrad at Oxford, did a Masters and PhD here, and am now living and working here. I still live in Oxford. If you ever need any advice (academic/job/immigration), let me know. I’d be happy to buy you a cup of tea sometime.

Oh my god, you must be down near us, our backyard is covered in ash and I’ve had to go around the house in one of my step dads respirator masks so I don’t have an attack every ten minutes. Couldn’t believe it when they released that it had been set on purpose (although my fam had talked about it sort of as a joke when all three of them in Corona were burning two days ago)
