This lavender lemonade is a delicious new take on a classic summer drink. Lavender's flowery scent gives the sour lemonade a unique and soothing touch, making it perfect for cooling off in the summer.
Ingredients: 1 cup fresh lemon juice. 1/2 cup organic cane sugar. 4 cups water. 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds. Ice cubes. Lemon slices and fresh lavender sprigs for garnish.
Instructions: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and dried lavender buds. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let the lavender-infused water cool. In a pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and organic cane sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the lavender-infused water and remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine. Refrigerate the lavender lemonade for at least 1 hour to chill. Serve the lavender lemonade over ice cubes, garnished with lemon slices and fresh lavender sprigs. Enjoy!
