Sunset on the Ochlockonee River and beach. We've left the Emerald Coast and stayed at this state park on our way around the gulf coast big bend. Parts of Panama City still looks bad from the hurricane, Mexico City has cleaned up all the debris and new construction is going up slowly. Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is a great place to stay with FHU, cable, and wifi! You can walk, bike or ride the free trolley to the beach. Kim's bike served as pack mule for us. It was cloudy, windy, and warm today. Kayaked from the boat ramp to the coast. The birds are in the lake, a bit of beach, and then the gulf waves behind. It was a challenge against the wind. But, if you get the right campsite, you could load up the chairs, coolers, etc and kayak from your campsite to the beach for the day. ⛱️..
