People really, really seem to struggle with the concept that most marginalized identities are placed into Catch 22s. There is no way to "win" or Do [X Identity] the "right" way to avoid punishment.

Being on holiday puts me on edge because I am with the same people every day but cannot explain my disability to them. Some days people see walking easily and assume I’m either able bodied or have a mild disability and then other days, I have a full on limp and they think that I should have something to assist my walking. When people see me multiple times a day, my mobility can change. They get so confused
