Oh oh, and I also remember the first time my best friend took a shot at it too. She was also perfect, but in another way. Instead of making my heart explode she made it melt.
With the way she illustrated the calm platonicness and the growing fondness
then the shock at the sheepish confession
the hurt in their eyes as they turned away, forcing themselves to decline for the other's safety
the word they used to describe themselves. THE WAY THAT BROKE MY HEART
then finally the acceptance and the hug, the way they put their hand on their head and quietly called them "Lil girl"
and the fairytale ending kiss which was wonderful and perfect and left me falling over myself with joy from behind the screen
