A couple more Fluffbots, including some recent commissions, plus a return to full sized plush.
Most of the fluffs here are recent within the last 6 months; TFP Optimus and Megatron, and the Rodimus with flowers were made and shipped in April, in fact. They were nice wrap-ups for the latest commission round UuU
The previous commission-break was in December- I was determined to make a full size plush. I’d had all this fabric for like, a year now. But I’d still only made one plush ever, so I definitely was/(am?) not at the skill level I want to be at to make the robots I wanted to make (TFA Blurr and MTMTE S1 Drift). So I gave myself a project: learn to use the sewing machine, and make your own pattern. This happened shortly after I got into Undertale, so Puss in Boots, a fast project whose purpose was expressly “learn to use sewing machine” was quickly overshadowed by “oh my god I should make Sans, he’s such simple shapes”
Both turned out to be massive learning experiences, Sans even more so, being an entirely from-scratch pattern (while Puss borrows a bit from my mom’s bear pattern collection and also had minimal effort from me in patterning the more uniquely shaped parts of her. Sorry Puss. I’ll do you one proper someday.)
Hopefully by this fall I can get started on Blurr! I think/hope I know what I’m doing now...
