RATING: Teen.
WARNING(S): Mention of a car crash, implied depression.
A/N: I hope this counts as fluff, I thought it did so I’m counting it because the idea of Stpehen and Tony tracing each other's scars is the only thing I could think of for this prompt.
The ways Stephen Strange has dealt with not being able to sleep over the years, and why it's changed. | Stephen Strange/Tony Stark
fluffbruary 2023 | isb 🏥 round 3
There are times at night when it becomes increasingly more difficult for Stephen Strange to sleep. When he was alone it used to be that he would decide to get up and take a walk, read a book, or play the piano. When he was a doctor he wouldn’t sleep in general and so he would just do another surgery, pretend that he had just woken up when his pager would buzz and walk into the OR ready.
After the car crash when his scars first appeared and his hands struggled, it became that sleep was all he could do and if he couldn’t do that he would just lay there and pretend that he was doing surgery. Moving into the penthouse it was much of the same, even with Tony clinging onto him like a koala he would sit there and pretend to or astral project.
It never seem to be that Tony noticed, but it was just that the man was, Stephen’s boyfriend would be a hypocrite if he judged somebody else's sleep schedule, Stephen had helped Tony improve his own.
Tony noticed and Stpehen realised when they began to trace each other's scar, running hands over each other's bodies. Shared scars, individuals and all in between. Easy to be near each other and when they get married Tony puts it in their vows that he will trace Stephen’s scars the same way astronomers trace the stars.
Stephen cries and it’s beautiful. From then on he sleeps peacefully at night with Tony beside him.
Parvati wasn't sure how Lavender did it, but she always managed to ignite her desire in seemingly simple ways. A hand on her thigh, a kiss to the back of her neck, a look and a raised eyebrow promising…things.
Tonight, she'd snuck up behind Parvati while she'd been directing the dirty dinner dishes with her wand and hugged her from behind. Parvati stopped what she was doing, waiting to see what Lavender would do. She slid her hands down the backs of Parvati's leg and she turned around to kiss Lavender, the dishes forgotten. Her lips were soft and insistent.

They lay in the dark of the tent supplied by the Reapers, the Commander on a rickety cot, Central on the cold ground.
Distantly somewhere outside a radio plays, vague sounds of a news report. The Commander does their best not to listen; they can't take the constant reminder of their failures.
They turn over and sit up so that they're looking down at their central officer, who's in the soldier pose with his eyes shut. For a moment, they just admire his form, run their eyes over him, assure themselves he's there.
"Central?" they ask finally.
He grunts but otherwise doesn't respond.
"Central, I'm cold," the Commander says, and it's more whiny than they expect, more childish and small than they'd hoped to reveal.
"What do you want me to do about it?" His voice rasps with sleep, and he still doesn't move, doesn't even open his eyes.
They swallow hard. "Would-- would you--"
The Commander can't spit it out. But they don't seem to have to; Central's getting up, clambering onto the cot beside them, grumbling that he's going to fall off.
They lie there in silence for a few moments, back to back, before Central asks, "Are you going to warm up or not?" He's twisting around to face them now, opening his arms.
"O-oh," says the Commander, and timidly slides into the space he's offering. Central's arm comes down, pulls them a little closer to him.
The Commander fumbles for the blanket, pulling it over the both of them. His breath is in their hair, their breath against his chest.
The Commander shivers.
"You're still cold?" He sounds incredulous.
"No, I'm ok," they say. "I just--" They hesitate. "We shouldn't do this."
Central shrugs. "Not like anyone whose opinion matters is around anymore," he says. "It's fine."
"What about the Reapers?"
"I don't think they care either way," he says, visibly fighting back a yawn.
"Are you sure?"
And he laughs, and the Commander wants to live in that, in this warmth.
"I'm sure," he says. "Try to get some sleep, would you?"
"Okay," they say, very softly.
Soon enough, they are almost asleep, on the edge of dreams, so they aren't sure it's real, but...
Central gingerly plants a kiss on their forehead. The Commander sighs contentedly.
The world outside might be fucked, but here, right now, it's all okay.
It took awhile after the war for Harry to be able to breathe easily again. He'd been on edge for so long that being able to relax felt foreign.
It was different for George. Every breath he took took him further away from his fallen brother. But when Harry was with him, their shared grief felt lighter. When he held Harry's hand, he could breathe normally.
So he decided he would never let go.
He looked at Harry now, next to him, still holding his hand and took a deep breath. He knew what he wanted, no needed, to ask.

WARNING(S): Possesive Husband
A/N: I know absolutely nothing about the regency period so please take everything I say with a grind of salt. Also, this is a very mix of fluff but it’s definitely not whump (I don’t think) it is certainly different. I enjoyed it all the same and I actually think I like the Peter Quill/Bucky pairing.
Bucky’s not in love with Tony Stark, he refuses to be because he’s about to be married to Peter Quill. Tony loves Stephen Strange and they have the money that makes love more than real. Bucky just needs some air instead. | James 'Bucky' Barnes/Peter Quill, Tony Stark/Stephen Strange
Bucky’s not in love with Tony Stark, he refuses to be, that’s unlikable it’s unreasonable to be in love with somebody of a much higher class. Instead, he sits across from his best friend, his hand held into Sir Peter Quill’s hand in the formal lounge.
There are smiles on their individual faces trying to convince one another that this is fine.
“Your house is quite lovely, Sir Quill,” Tony says in that sweetly sickening voice that out of the four of them in the room only Bucky understands. Stephen, Tony’s partner who he actually loves, nods along with his newly wedded husband, “I suspect you must have brought it for such a sum,” Stephen enquires.
The strange thing is now Bucky and Tony are in the same class, they are no longer little kids fighting with dirt and getting told off by their mothers. They are wedded men, the next perfect housewife who doesn’t clean because they have a staff who does that, and they certainly don’t assist their husbands with work because that’s not their job. Instead, they have times like this, drinking champagne and tea, while maids flitter around and collect dessert plates and the mess they leave.
Quill smiles at his new groom after only getting down on one knee merely weeks ago, Bucky happily said yes because there wasn’t quite any other way to respond to such a proposal. Peter happily complimented Bucky anyway, “well James had quite a lot to do with it, I wanted to put a pretty roof over his head that he could decorate, he has quite the eye for colour palettes.”
James hears Tony scoff at the way Quill uses his real name and Stephen must hear it too from the way he visually tightens his grip on Tony’s forearm.
Tony knows that the reason Bucky understand colour is because of his brother's passion for art, the passion Steve never got to pursue because he didn’t get as lucky as Bucky, marrying instead to his wife so they could have a next of kin to continue to support the household needs. A small backyard wedding that Bucky got invited to but never did make it to.
As Stephen straightens his posture he tries to make it so Tony’s previous mutters mean nothing indecent, “will have to have James over to see what we can do with our humble abode,” the humble abode Stephen talks about is actually Tony’s mansion that was left to him in his parents will, which since marriage is now Stephen’s property.
Bucky stands up with a smile still on his face because he knows Tony loves Stephen, infatuated still despite Stephen’s protective nature, “I would love that, what are friends for after all.” He plays it off politely kissing Peter’s cheek and grabbing his bag, “I have to pop out to do some things for the house but I hope we do this again.”
With that, he steps out of the lounge room and hastily moves towards the front door once there he sucks in the fresh air and breathes.
They were tightly entwined on the sofa. Harry wasn't sure where his body ended and George began. George's kisses were all encompassing, always. Harry frequently got lost in them. But now it didn't matter. Neither of them had anywhere else to be.
Panting a little, they came up for air and George leaned his forehead against Harry's. Harry smiled softly at him and leaned back so he could see him better and brushed à piece of his hair back.
He wobbled a little at the end of the sofa and George put his hand on Harry's back. "Careful. Don't slip."

WARNING(S): Sitting in campus prison cell, bail out, sleeping on the couch.
Bucky Barnes wouldn’t say that he is unlucky, but he’s certainly not the luckiest person in the world, it’s exactly what he’s thinking while sitting in the campus jail cell. But he has an (okay) friend who can bail him out, it might just take some dramatics first. | Sam Wilson/James 'Bucky' Barnes, Tony Stark/Stephen Strange
fluffbruary 2023 | bbb 📚 flash | isb 🏥 round 3
Bucky Barnes wouldn’t say that he is unlucky, but he’s certainly not the luckiest person in the world, it’s exactly what he’s thinking while sitting in the campus jail cell.
“You got pulled over by the cops?” Sam laughs from the other side of the bars, not at all worried about the situation that his boyfriend is currently in.
Bucky sighs rolling his eyes, “I called you to ask you to bail me out not sit there and make fun of me,” if anybody else saw the pout on Bucky’s face he would deny it, but in front of Sam it’s extremely hard to do. He wasn’t stupid, his bike was registered and he was wearing all the right equipment, he just happened to forget what the speed limit was on campus.
Sam tilts his head because he knows Bucky’s not going to like the answer, “I thought about it but then I was on the phone with Tony and he offered to pay,” Bucky’s smile lights up but Sam, hadn’t finished talking, “if he gets to come and see you in jail.”
The way Bucky’s face shifts he should be glad they are inside and the wind won’t change, “you have got to be kidding me,” he says as he kicks the bars of the cell.
“He’s also bringing Stephen,” Sam adds before Bucky can get even more angry and consider just ripping the cheap bars out. “Great let’s just make it a family affair then! Are you going to call Steve down too so he can yell at me for being irresponsible? Or how about my mother?”
Wincing slightly at the remark Sam realises his grave mistake and pulls out his phone to message everyone, but the door opens and he’s already too late. “Mr Harmony! I hear you need a bailout,” Tony Stark yells walking into the building like he owns the place, which isn’t half bad seeing as his dad’s name is on the plaque outside because Howard expected Tony would wind up here more often than not.
The joint groan comes from Sam, Bucky and even Stpehen as he watches his boyfriend's large nonsensical behaviour. “I am so sorry, and I’ve already kicked him out to sleep with Rhodey tonight,” Stephen says in an apology and it does make Bucky feel better that Tony has been kicked out so he won’t have to deal with the man after he leaves this cell tonight.
If Bucky thinks about it, the cell isn’t that horrible it’s not like he’s actually in jail, it’s just campus jail, which he got pulled into by campus police. The cell has a bed, a private bathroom off to the side and two chairs and a table, it’s almost homey.
“Yes, I am here to bail out one James Buchanan Barnes, on account of speeding, which honestly couldn’t you have just given him a ticket because now I have to sleep on my best friend’s couch rather than my own bed with my extremely hot boyfriend-” the cop that Tony is talking to gets annoyed after the first two words come out of the man's mouth and just stamps Bucky’s card unlock the electronic gate door.
Bucky happily leaves the cell moving towards Sam and kissing him so he knows that he appreciates the support but oh-my-god I still hate you for bringing Tony here, and Sam understands it. Tony slaps him on the back and smiles, “let’s get you out of here, Mr Harmony, Mr we should be respectful of nature, and the ground of being, and yet got put in campus jail.”
Rolling his eyes he shoves Tony’s hand off his shoulder, “shove off Tony.”
He would never want to ask that again.
But at least tonight he would have a good night's sleep, he can’t say the same for Tony.
