Yesterday on the golf course we saw this baby hawk trying to learn how to fly getting harassed by red wing blackbirds.

I get that the blackbirds were just trying to protect their nests, but this baby hawk wasn't a threat and was just trying to use the sand traps as lauch off pads.

I hope the baby hawk learns how to fly and goes back and terrorizes those blackbirds.

There are some kinda short new hairs sticking out of the front of my head. They're fluffy. They grow remarkably fast, too. I might or might not be growing winter fur!
