Hii! If it's not a spoiler, how exactly did the reader and Layton meet?
I think my original idea was that the reader was a victim of Layton's ghoul attack, but something about them just made him obsessed. But that trauma the reader would feel hasn't really worked its way into my narrative yet. However Layton has stalked Y/N for a long time and was long watching them before they finally made contact by going to the cafe.
I am playing around with a true origin story though, but its not come to fruition yet. I know at least Layton views the reader as someone holy, untainted, worth more than a human or a ghouls life. His feelings are pretty twisted.
