Testing those fluorescent inks I bought! And it’s a good thing I did before trying any full designs. As you can see I didn’t exactly apply it sparingly despite one of my intentions here being to do a sensitivity test. ^^; My brush was overloaded and the ink kind of went everywhere first try, heh. I think I had it figured out by the third try, though, got a clean line there on the right.

Now to wait on the sensitivity thing. The stuff smells like alcohol and my wrist is aching a bit the same way sharpies make my hand ache… but if nothing else happens I’m declaring it safe enough for at least the one project. I have some plans for a hand doodle for Halloween / the last day of Inktober that I’m really excited about. :D

HOLY CRAP LOOK AT THESE

My fluorescent inks arrived today, and the yellow one is admittedly defective. It’s the one on the left here; the fluid’s a gross brown and doesn’t glow at all. Which isn’t great, because these things weren’t super cheap.

I’m not entirely sure whether I even care enough to go to the effort of complaining or returning it though? I mean. Just look at the others? The blue glows way better than this photo shows, too, my camera just doesn’t agree with it, and. Aaaaaaa
