Why do you think Froststar took Flurryfire as her deputy?

she chose flurryfire because even though froststar believes the clan will not survive and flourish she doesnt want to,,, actively destroy it,,, and she believed choosing a cat a bit more older and more experienced than her would at least delay the “inevitable”
