someone's prompt (AIDEAN) Can someone write a fic where one of the boys is a massive fan of the other one, and when the realise they’re going to be working on The Hobbit together they have a massive freakout. And then they try to act normal when first meeting the other, because they don’t want to freak the other out. Maybe they could both be massive fans of each other, and be equally freaking out?
In his spare time, when Dean wasn't working as an actor or running around with a camera, he liked to sit down and watch a bit of television. He didn't mind some of the shows on there, often finding a comedy or two to watch during the day before he set out on a hike or walk or a trip to the store, but seeing Aidan Turner in Being Human made him smile. A very photogenic man, for sure; dark, curly hair that sprouted in all directions on his head, the thick eyebrows he just wanted to run his finger over to straighten out the wayward strands, stubble that was omnipresent. Rugged, but also sweet.
He could hardly contain his excitement when he found out he was going to be his brother on camera. A cinematic experience as well as a new friendship, or else he hoped. Getting on set always wracked his nerves, always made him want to shake off the feeling with a small walk around the block with a camera to see what he could find. He had a little digital camera stuffed in his back pocket for some friendly shots he could get throughout the production of the movie.
The first time he saw Aidan his grin was practically jumping off of his face. He was more than happy to see the star, though when Aidan looked at him, the grin on his face looked impecable, excited, as if he was excited to see Dean.
"Dean O'Gorman!" Aidan called, laughing brilliantly. "I love your photography work! You'll have to let me model for you sometime! God, you're such a brilliant photographist--"
Dean was stunned. The smile was still on his face, but he blinked increduously. "M-Me?" he murmured, astounded.
"Yes, you! I can't beleive I get to work with you. Aidan, Aidan--"
"Turner, yeah, I'm a fan of your work, too." Dean held out his hand, and it was taken with enthusiasm. "Being Human has to be one of my favorite shows."
"Oh, that one is a blast!" He tilted back as he laughed this time, that smile still beaming on his face, and Dean just wanted to snap thousands of photos of it. "You're a bloody fantastic actor yourself. I watched one of your older movies, Kawa, just recently. I have to say, you look pretty great wrapped only in a blanket." He winked, and Dean laughed.
"That was... God, that wasn't that long ago at all. Thank you, your compliments mean so, so much to me."
"Not to mention-- oh, The Almighty Johnsons." He nudged Dean on the shoulder with a fist, and Dean just raised his hand to his neck, rubbing.
"You're a flatterer, aren't you?" Dean chuckled, biting at the inside of his lip. "Thank you, Mr. Turner, very much."
"The same to you, Mr. O'Gorman. Please, call me Aidan. God, I can't believe I get to work with you!"
"The feeling is completely mutual, ah, Aidan." The man's smile was brilliant as New Zealand's sunshine itself. "Please, call me Dean." He reached back into his pocket and slid the strap to his camera around his wrist, a small smile on his lips still. "Mind if I take your picture?"
"Mind if I pose?" Aidan chuckled.
