I don't try customizing dolls nearly as much as I used to, since the accessible methods in my current toolkit are not good for preservation, but this one's stayed okay, and I'm still really proud of how she turned out--this is Dianée "DiDi" DiPterri, custom daughter of The Fly! Read the full customization art process (and her G1-style character profile) in this post here!
There have been MANY iterations of Dr. Baxter Stockman; he’s been a hapless scientist working for the TGRI Corporation, who once exposed to the mutanage ooze, becomes a fly, he’s been a cunning, egotistical robotics genius who slowly becomes a man-machine super villain, a Lex Luther-esq scheming super genius CEO of TGRI, and even a robot building boy-genius! But no matter the version, some things remain the same: a mad scientist who has allied himself with the likes of Shredder and The Foot Clan and/or the alien tyrant Krang to conquer the world, and building his deadly Mousers and robots to terminate his hated adversaries: THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!
Hey, @bogleech , do you think you’ll ever take a look at the monsters from the Diablo series?
I saw these mutated fly zombies from Diablo IV and thought of your Mortasheen Arthropoids. These are the only monsters from a Diablo game that actually scared me.
I was going through this dungeon, thinking ‘huh, this place has a lot of zombies and a few swarms of flies, nothing too unusual though’, and then I hear a weird noise before one of those Skittering Abominations suddenly drops on me from above like a locust leaping at a stalk of grain.
My thought process was essentially boiled down to ‘Wait, what was that noi- WHAT THE HECK IS THAT OH GOD GET OFF ME’.
The Skittering Abominations look like they leapt right out of Resident Evil, and the Pestilent Hosts look like they’d be right at home in Silent Hill. I did NOT expect Diablo to go that hard with parasitic flies.
Check the alt text for the names of the monsters and an effort to describe just what was going on, since I took these mid-battle due to panic.
Sally Brundle is the 17-year-old daughter of a fly monster. Sally is a bubbly, excitable, and only sometimes annoying girl, with a passion for biteology and mad science. She hates people killing bugs just because they think they are annoying and icky.
This incredible OC belongs to Queenofhighschoolland
I gonna be honest; I have no clue how old Rox is anymore. Originally they were seventeen- the age I was when I the year I made them. But with cementing and polishing of other character's backgrounds, Rox's age has kinda become a mystery...
ANYWAY- enjoy Rox ft. Beelzubeth and Beelze . . . Looks at list of Lord Fly names . . . Beelzeblip
Crazed logic and math below cut
TL;DR: Rox is 21, I guess?
the events of the canon timeline takes place in early spring of 2016. so Levi has just hit his 30's. he was born in early October but the exact year of his birth is hazy with his serve memory lose- but he forcefully adopt Rox as his sibling after he leaves Gelnbrooke, and Rox is still impressible but ultimately damaged (So Rox would have to be pre or early teens?)
The O'Dare Twins were born in June, 1990- making them 26 (But Levi met and looked out for Heather in Glenbrooke. Levi left before Heather and Heather escaped when she was 19 or 20 so let's say 2010)
Logan is a year younger being 25- her car accident happening in spring of her senior year of high school, 2008 (But Rox has to be an age that isn't too creepy as they somehow get involved in a queerplatonic poly relationship with Heath and Logan...?)
So lets say... Levi is five years older then Heath and Heather- making him 30 and born prolly in '85 then... he'd be 24 when Heather escaped Glenbrooke and he would have met Rox by that point
Idk, let's Rox was born in 1994, 9 younger then Levi, that would make them 21 at the start of the main timeline as Rox's birthday is in December.
