Also, the guards swap when they want to or when the other feels something. Like if Wuji is a sad boy then it's his turn to use the body. That sounds so wrong..

“Norton…you have food all over your face!”
Wuji chuckled at the child with sauce on his face.
Norton blushed wiping his chubby red cheeks on his newly washed jacket.
Wuji shook his head and gave him a fond head Pat with another burger to eat, while he took a long drag from his bong.
“It's alright, I'm sure you're feeling famished after wandering for so long.”
Bian rolled his eyes eyeing specific stains on Norton's clothes. Boy this kid really had a pit for a stomach. He'd been eating ever since he came back from the store.
He stopped and looked over to the unfinished hot buns steaming in the candlelight.
He placed his bong aside and came out of the shadows. Folding the buns into their package.
“You barely took a bite…”
Norton nodded, flopping onto his bed. He quickly covered his face and hugged his pillows mumbling to God knows who.
For Wuji that was hard to believe but Bian felt something was wrong. He put the food away for tomorrow and made his way over to the bed.
He pet the boys chubby cheeks trying to coax him out of hiding. Norton never went to bed so early. Something must have been wrong.
His voice was quivering and Wuji could tell
“Is there something you want to talk about?”
Bian took him in their arms and rubbed his back.
“You can trust me Darling.”
He spills his guys to him and obeys
(I can't write for nothing… Basically failure to protect teammates/lost a lot)
“Norton… You did your best.”
“But they don't think so....I'm just some kid! Right?! Maybe I don't understand how the adult world works just yet?! But…but isn't trying enough?! I'm sorry!”
Norton began sobbing showing his true self. A scared child. Here Wuji was surprised to see his real emotions coming out.
“Darling…I think trying is more than enough. You know, I think that's the most adult thing that a child can do. You made two ends meet, found a job, blended in so well that even… I couldn't tell you were just a kid.”
Norton looked at him. His dark eyes blinking back tears.
“Really Master? You're just saying that to make me feel better!?”
It was now Bian's turn to deal with the boy. He took Norton into his arms and pets his head not letting him run away from their tight embrace. Norton realized that it was okay and relaxed into his touch. He hugged Bian's chest for comfort and sniffled as his master wiped away his tears with a hot compress and lie in bed with him.
“How about I bring you those hot buns, and we can...brush my hair. I'll even let you do my makeup.”
Wuji cringed as Bian smiled. Norton eagerly nodded sitting up. Wuji held Norton on his hip and retrieved the large amount of food for him.
Cleaning up was going to be a pain...
