The guy was tall and broad and imposing, all the things that Peter just - couldn't seem to manage to pull off, even with his wings, which now were held tight and strong against his back, a nervous habit. but - "Because, I mean, I'm -" he awkwardly reached up and pulled his lip up just slightly, although it wasn't particularly necessary, because he already had his own fully extended. Only the top two canines extended into long, sharp points, when he was feeling... defensive. The nerves and the desperate need to have someone who understood this part of him that he so hated -

Meet Flying Spider/ J-Spider!! My spider sona

She’s based on the Joro spiders!

Joro spiders are known to make webs that can cause them to balloon/ parachute- which allows them to travel long distances!

Instead of uses her webs to sling across building to building she uses her webs to to glide to wherever she wants.

Similar to Joro spiders my sona (when in spider form) can be shy, timid, and lacking self confidence that she can fulfill her role. She likes to avoid confrontation but when push comes to shove she’ll get the job done.

But she is confident when in her normal civilian self!

Would rather be saving dogs, cats, and small pets.

So... spideyverse, huh?

Anyway, this is Flying Spider, who is actually a variant I've had longer than the latest spideyverse film, based on the MCU Tom Holland version in a fanfic I wrote a few months back! (it's called Beyond the Comfort of the Sick, Sick Game if anyone wants to read that.) The film coming out gave me a bit of inspiration so here's my lovely winged lad doing a Crouch on a Gargoyle. What building is he on, you ask? ANYWAY...

Jumping Spiders are difficult for me to ignore.  Here is a relatively large specimen collected a few days ago on the Beltsville Ag Center BARC West 200 acre proposed MAGLEV site.  This mini-aliens will remain active until a hard freeze does them in.  Photo by Elizabeth Panner, new in the lab and working on her photo chops.

Halmacoele represents a kind of long legged arachnid kaiju with specimens of a body size of almost 50 m long but with a leg extension of 340 m of span, which they extend and are used for soar in the sky, being able of traveling great distances without huge energy waste. These normally to be able to take flight either use their 2 last pair of legs to take a big jump and acquire sufficient height or just fall for high ground areas such as mountains for smaller young individuals.

Tina, another character I've had for a while. She likes to explore her surroundings and investigate the local flora and fauna. And while she is very perceptive of the nature that surrounds her, she can be oblivious to almost everything else. She barely remembers to eat and will often fall asleep exactly where she is standing, rather than trying to get to her bed. She tends to have more meaningful conversations with animals than she does with other people. The feelings and behaviors of other humans are nearly foreign to her. But they do fascinate her and she likes to study people, like if an alien were studying humans. She also likes Emma. Like, really likes Emma. Emma is not fond of that. Nope :P
