sin-sidejob aka laneysmusings is a horrible hypocrite of a person who polices her "friends" and judges what you like depending on what she thinks of you. The biggest example I can think of is this:

I used to be big into harry potter. I grew up with it and it was, for many years, my biggest form on escapism. Sometimes I still reblog the occasional gifset here and there but for the most part I don't interact with anything harry potter anymore because jkr is a horrible evil sorry excuse for a human being. sin-sidejob aka laneysmusings called me a hateful bigot in her final message because she saw a single hp gifst I had reblogged. Nevermind that I myself am nb and under the trans umbrella, she doesn't like me so since I like the bad thing, I too must be bad.

HOWEVER! There was another person in our group, tumblr user outismm, who openly loved harry potter! He told me all about how much he enjoys harry potter as well as all the characters he had crushes on. I heard in detail all the ways he wanted to sleep with a whole bunch of the hp characters. But outismm is still (as far as I know) one of sinside-job aka laneymusing's best friends!! He is allowed to like harry potter because laney likes him, so because she calls him a friend it's ok for him to like the same thing I am so so evil for only occasionally interacting with.

I run this blog to tell you to stay away from sin-sidejob aka laneysmusings and her friends for this very reason. They consider themselves the internet police and if they don't like you anything you enjoy must be the devil, while if they do like you and you enjoy the exact same things that's ok. She is a hypocrite and so are her dogs.

Stay away from her.

E. What is their love language?

i don't know if it's her love language exactly, but she has a habit of trying to buy people's affection - it's easy, reliable (who doesn't like gifts???), and doesn't really require her to open up on a deeper level. not affordable or sustainable at all lol

if she were a healthier person, or at least more serious, it'd definitely be some combo of acts of service + quality time both ways

N. What are their hidden talents?

came from a family of very talented, albeit failed, classical musicians. she and her brother have both performed successfully at national level before quickly burning out and falling into other paths

U. What do they like to do in their spare time?

cheat at phone games + argue online

Y. What physical object do they value most?

set of cassettes from the first band she ever worked with. she doesn't have any way to actually play them, but they feel like proof of progress

A warning to the selfship/yumeship community

The following tumblr users are responsible for my suicide attempt. I met them at a time where I was incredibly isolated and lonely and when it all ended my already dark mental place from being lonely and isolated massively grew in size. What makes it even worse is these were the first “friends” I had had in a very, very long time, so it felt like being locked back in the dark after finally seeing just a sliver of light. I tried to leave peacefully and told them if they ever still wanted to talk to me again my door would always be open to them. Instead I got sent the most hateful, horrible, cruel “goodbye” private messages. These monsters do not belong in the selfship/yumeship community, they don’t belong in ANY community after showing me their true colors. These users are:

As you can tell, most of them have more than one blog. They may have more but these are the ones I have been made aware of.

Please please please, I beg of you all, ice them out. Do not welcome them anywhere. Let them be forced to live in their 4 person echo chamber because they have nowhere else to go. If you follow any of these people and think they are your friend I thought so as well so I can tell you firsthand: no you are not and you need to fucking run.

Stay away from these people, I don’t want anybody else to be put into the same dark mental place they put me in.
