sin-sidejob aka laneysmusings is a horrible hypocrite of a person who polices her "friends" and judges what you like depending on what she thinks of you. The biggest example I can think of is this:

I used to be big into harry potter. I grew up with it and it was, for many years, my biggest form on escapism. Sometimes I still reblog the occasional gifset here and there but for the most part I don't interact with anything harry potter anymore because jkr is a horrible evil sorry excuse for a human being. sin-sidejob aka laneysmusings called me a hateful bigot in her final message because she saw a single hp gifst I had reblogged. Nevermind that I myself am nb and under the trans umbrella, she doesn't like me so since I like the bad thing, I too must be bad.

HOWEVER! There was another person in our group, tumblr user outismm, who openly loved harry potter! He told me all about how much he enjoys harry potter as well as all the characters he had crushes on. I heard in detail all the ways he wanted to sleep with a whole bunch of the hp characters. But outismm is still (as far as I know) one of sinside-job aka laneymusing's best friends!! He is allowed to like harry potter because laney likes him, so because she calls him a friend it's ok for him to like the same thing I am so so evil for only occasionally interacting with.

I run this blog to tell you to stay away from sin-sidejob aka laneysmusings and her friends for this very reason. They consider themselves the internet police and if they don't like you anything you enjoy must be the devil, while if they do like you and you enjoy the exact same things that's ok. She is a hypocrite and so are her dogs.

Stay away from her.

It is, at the very least, TOXIC if not ABUSIVE to sit there and tell a survivor that their abuser was justified in their abusive actions.

- It doesn't matter if you can "understand the abuser's side", you are invalidating trauma to try and impose that upon the survivor.

- It doesn't matter if the abuser has never abused you. Just because you haven't experienced the abuser's toxicity yourself doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

- Don't you dare try to compare the situation of abuse to something else in an attempt to humanize the abuser.

Listen to survivors. Support survivors. Believe SURVIVORS, not the lies of a masked monster.

Keep in mind that in  TFA Kylo was there as Finn panicked over a unconscious Rey.  Clearly concerned and worried over her well being and wanting Rey to live/be okay.

And after witnessing this still tried to   convince and manipulate her that she was nothing except for to him.  And that she would only mean something to him, using her parents and where she came from as a weapon against her to weaken for for his benefit.

Reylos excuse this by saying that Kylo tells the “truth”  because of who her parents are.  Excusing it by saying what lineage means in Star Wars.  But, if Kylo truly cared then it wouldn’t matter where Rey came from and he wouldn’t attempt to use it against her to gain an advantage in his favor. 

A man who truly cares would say.  “It doesn’t matter where you came from, you’re worth everything and are everything and not just to me.”

Kylo lied to Rey no matter how his Stans or Reylos try to spin it.  How can he say that Rey is nothing, but only to him,  when he was there to see how Finn reacted when Rey’s well being was in danger and how Rey was willing to put his on well being on the line to protect Rey from Kylo and ended up in a coma because of it.

It's really funny that the people most loudly calling others "puritans" or conservatives are the most sexually conservative people.

Like they're downplaying importance on consent, saying representation in media like ship art doesn't matter, and saying "you're overthinking it it's not that deep."
