2026, Year of the Daily Doodle - May SFW(-ish) Edition

Lots of SFW doodles I don't feel bad about for this month! Which makes for quite a long post compared to April I feel like. Among them, a couple ideas from friends (like the nighttime seaside one), the obligatory MerMay doodle (if you're curious, I tried modelling Désiré's merman form after a grey shark, the ones I'd see the most at my old workplace), some lore I need to write down (Le Mans 78 bizarro dimension edition), and soup. I already posted soup but you can't get enough of soup.

Some of these are a bit saucier and one of them has clearly NSFW dialogue in French but we're all puberty'd enough around these grounds I feel like.

That last drawing is one I want to highlight for a reason only related to it. It's inspired by a song named とても痛い痛がりたい (Totemo Itai Itagaritai, usually translated to "Hurting for a Very Hurtful Pain"). See, if you're my exact generation, you may've grown up listening to a lot of songs that used Vocaloid voicebanks for the vocals. My favourite artist from these years, whose work I've continued to enjoy to this day, my favourite producer, is EZFG. Totemoitai is only one of the songs from him I've absolutely loved, among other classics like Cyber Thunder Cider and less known ones like Glucagon.

Unfortunately, EZFG passed away earlier this month - and it's the first time an artist's death has affected me as much as EZFG's passing has. I invite you to listen to his work at least once in your life - his official Youtube channel has most if not all of his work, including his different arranges for some of his songs like Cyber Thunder Cider or Igniter. (Also, his visual work on the clips for these songs is insanely creative, there's a reason why the stick figure has become an icon of the Vocaloid community). Rest in peace, EZFG, you'll sorely be missed.

Oh, also, for the tiny anecdote, four of these were drawn in Italy!

2026, Year of the Daily Doodle - March SFW Edition

31 more days this time around! Some of them aren't here because, as usual, Tumblr and NSFW have a bad relationship - but you've got all of the SFW, gregnant-less doodles here. You may notice a bit of modern AU slipped in there, along with race suits, whose design I got from @seymouridae! Thank you so much again for the love you've given these characters omg I can't thank you enough!

This time, we've got visits from a bunch of other characters, on top of Gabriella queening it out: Briana for International Women's Day, one of my other OCs Florian for his birthday on March 21st (talking to a period-accurate Désiré, Florian's born in 1985), Magdalene from my Pokémon fic series (the Gardevoir) and, finally, Désiré's very own mom Maria Angela on the March 28th one. The context to that last one is her screaming at her son-in-law to be a responsible partner and father, because y'know, it's not because I tend to be bashful about my work that I'm not obsessed with it!

2026, Year of the Daily Doodle - April SFW(-ish) Edition

This month has been weird - so long for the most part, with the sudden (more than justified) cancellation of the (honestly not-worth-the-calendar-spot) Middel Eastern GPs, yet I did some wild stuff like going to Italy to meet a friend (which turned into getting a second friend!). That wild stuff may have made this week so dry and boring it's made me feel ennui in the English sense of the French word, which is a translation of the French sense of the English word spleen), but at least I've still got my daily drawing series! Which I did bring with me aboard, I actually did the April 25th drawing there - of course it was the divorce one, you know how we roll around here. The April 24th doodle as well, also.
