Ling is friendly and flirty by nature. In the beginning, it wasn't his intention and he thought he was just being sweet, but as soon as he learned he could get farther in life by being kind and flirtatious, he began to take advantage of it.

So while he flirts with pretty much anyone, as soon as he finds someone he really likes and wants to seriously pursue, he focuses the majority of that energy on them.

This means more aggressive flirting, more sexually charged jokes and advances.

He'll tease someone he's crushing on a lot, tossing out the bait and seeing if they bite and how they respond.

But he won't play these games forever. His goal above all is to get to know you better.

Once he does, and he begins to feel stronger feelings of love, instead of just being infatuated, he will make his intentions clear. He will tell you he wants you romantically, and he expects you to give him an answer in return - yes, you are into him too, or no, you're not.
