osaka in the rain had been dreadful, but now that the clouds had parted and the moon had come out heera could see the city’s appeal. she’d never been one to stay cooped up in her hotel, not when there was so much to do and see outside. and there was so much to see. her eyes could barely focus on a light source before she became distracted by something else. dotonbori was without a doubt the most confusing place she’d ever visited and heera loved it. the lights made the place seem otherworldly, like something out of a scifi movie.
the sounds of her footsteps hitting the wooden bridge were drowned by the various voices and music that filled the canal area. she leaned against the bridge’s railing, looking down at the water before returning to her neon surroundings. it was then that she spotted hanli. without skipping a beat heera raised her hand and waved to the other.
