      one of duri’s favorite things to do was writing lyrics. whenever inspiration would strike, he’d take a hold of one of his notebooks, and write out the words that were coming to him. it was something that had simply made him happy, not matter what the feeling of the song was. he just simply really enjoyed writing. so, when bc entertainment had enlisted him to write partial lyrics for a song for the colla3orate project, duri was a bit over the moon that he was asked to do so. he spent time with other writers, writing the song, and it had come together in no time. he quite liked it a lot himself and believed it was going to be a good song. 

he had arrived to where he was meant to go to meet with those who would be particpating in the project song, as he was asked to meet with them to go over the lyrics, and what it was about. he knocked upon the door, before turning the handle to enter. “hello!”

perhaps the only annoying part about finally being given some attention by the company and getting more opportunities than in the past is the fact that now it’s expected of kyunghwa to attend as many events as she possibly can to keep her name out there. wherever there’s a photographer, it’s expected of kyunghwa to be attending. luckily the woman doesn’t mind having pictures of her being taken but, at the same time, she knows she’s bound to feeling shit about her appearance as soon as she sees the pictures. it’s never flattering enough and there are days whether she doesn’t know that’s because the cameras didn’t capture her on the right angle or if she simply doesn’t have good angles at all. it’s a constant, inevitable battle to be fought whenever you struggle with your own appearance.

kyunghwa forces herself to focus on other things – it’s a vogue korea event, and she knows her mother expects nothing but for her to be looking pristine and maybe walk out of here with a magazine cover. unrealistic, for sure, but still a nice dream to have. she knows she must, above all things, look good for the cameras and interact with the right people, hence walking up to julie as soon as she sees her – it’s not a bad thing to be pictured next to a member of one of the most famous girl groups, is it?‌ “‌ hey babe, ” kyunghwa goes in for a hug. “‌ are you enjoying the party? ”

eunah is happy, and she’s warm. she’s warm from the inside, in a way that she’s still getting used to. some of it, she’s sure, can be ascribed to the green tea cupped between her hands and the chocolate brownie that she’s abandoned halfway eaten on account of its richness, but most of it is coming from eunah herself. doing things like this, meeting up with friends, and actually being there in the moment, rather than in her own head, is an important step for eunah. in the past, she’s been guilty of only pretending to listen, but that isn’t the case today. 

“i had tea like this in japan with yoona a while back too,” eunah says, taking a sip of her drink. “say hi to her from me, when you get home, will you? more importantly, how was new york?” a dreamy smile lifts the corners of her mouth. “ugh, i miss new york. i think i would’ve moved there if i hadn’t ended up coming to korea.”

She was never actually prepared to be an idol, but she guessed that even those people who always knew they were born to sing weren’t ready for all the pressure that came with this line of work.

But Sooah was trying not to worry about it and her trip to Switzerland may have a lot to do with it. She was back to Korea for a few days now and upon arriving, she had distributed all the souvenirs she managed to bring back home, either by giving them out to managers so they could give them to her friends or, in her family case, just leave it in her parents house until her older brothers came back to fetch their parts.

In Julie’s case, by sheer luck they were in the same country at the same time and even though Julie was busy with Femme Fatale’s upcoming comeback, Sooah took the liberty to send her a message in order to meet. She wasn’t waiting for long in Gold Star’s cafeteria when she spotted the older girl arriving. Smiling, Sooah waved at her and got up from her sit, “Unnie, hello, how are you doing?”
