Filming for the fourth episode of We Got Married has begun! This episode will be filmed while the couples are on their overseas honeymoons. The episode will be aired in two different parts two days in a row due to the amount of footage. Some of the footage that doesn’t make the cut will be released as online special content.
Note: The tasks under the cut are for participants and commentators. The points available for this week total 4 points for participants and 3 points for commentators on your points page. Prompt: Thanks to travel sponsorships and an increased vewership for the special summer season, the eight couples will be split between two top honeymoon destinations: Bali, Indonesia and Santorini, Greece. All couples will be on their honeymoons from Monday, August 14, to Wednesday, August 16. Any currently promoting spouses will have prerecorded all performances for the duration of their trip before leaving. A large portion of their trip will be spent on camera, but they will be granted free time each day to do as they please. A detailed schedule of the Bali couples’ trip can be found HERE and a detailed schedule of the Santorini couples’ trip can be found HERE. The locations for each couple can be found below, once again, as determined by random number generator (with slight alterations to split characters up played by the same mun as much as possible):
Santorini: King & Luna, Minji & Chanmi, Taeyong & Eunae, Mark & Wren
Missions: After their first day of filming, couples will come back to their hotel rooms to a mission card telling them to share the bed for the night. Cameras are installed in the room to get a proper shot, but they will be told off-camera by the producers that the cameras will film until 3AM, at which point the couples are able to split up and one may sleep on the couch if they’re unable to sleep while in the same bed. +2 points: Write a self-para of your muse filming a vlog. This can be for one specific couple or a general one for all of the couples. It can include general thoughts on last week’s weddings and the show so far, well-wishes for the honeymoon, miscellaneous thoughts, or, if directed to a specific couple, a message of support. All vlogs will be uploaded as part of this episode’s special online content, and vlogs addressed to a specific couple will also be shown to that couple on their honeymoon and their reactions will be filmed. The self-para should be at least 350 words.
Which, if any, weddings did you attend as a guest?
“okay, but who didn’t attend mama bear and yuddy’s wedding? it was so beautiful and mama bear was so beautiful and i’m so glad she jumped into the ocean.” he laughed softly at the memory, shaking his head slightly. “really wasn’t surprised, though. wouldn’t be her if she didn’t do something out of the ordinary. and yuddy looked good too! he better take care of my mama bear!” he paused for a second before continuing. “and then i went to sian and yonce’s. yo, that was grand as hell. i loved it! the masks were a nice touch plus i don’t know, i love masquerades. it was very phantom of the opera-esque. and i freaking love that musical. 10/10 would recommend. it’s like, so beautiful! and the vocals are amazing, the scores are amazing, the stage production! it’s-- wait-- what was i talking about?”
If you were on the show, would you rather go to Bali or Santorini? Why?
“santorini!” he said in a heartbeat. "i’ve been to bali on a summer vacation. and honestly, since i came from the island life it just feels like coming home. santorini might be the same but the architecture is beautiful and hey, i haven’t ever been there!” he grinned, shrugging his shoulders. “but hey, on a side note, if you every want to come visit my hometown, let me know, i’ll hook you guys up.”

james took a quick moment to think about this. “sian and yonce.” he nodded firmly after speaking. “i mean, i always knew they were friends but that wedding... man, it seemed like they’re actually getting married and not virtually! yonce’s vows made it seem like they’re actually spending their life together, not just a couple weeks of virtual marriage for the show!”
