The prizes for the top We Got Married participants and commentators can be found below the cut. Since they all involve a free points claim of some sort, you may claim them now even though the points system is down. Please message me if you need the points claim form. If you claim something with a planned release date on or before September 13, it can be added to the set list of the We Got Married concert if you’d like for plotting purposes (if released after September 6, it will be a special preview performance). Please let me know if you plan to claim your prize by September 10 (unless you are on hiatus) or I will assume you don’t want it.
I encourage you to tie in your character’s company capitalizing on the additional exposure from We Got Married to the releases, but you aren’t required to!

wren was tired. a five o’clock in morning call time was no rarity to her, but she made the mistake of staying out far too late last night and sneaking back into her apartment only a few hours ago (thank god her roommate was already asleep). now she was paying for it. her manager could tell she was tired from the dark circles under her eyes even concealer hadn’t been able to mask and the huge yawn she let out when she entered the room. there was no sympathy on her managers face though; they both knew she had done this to herself.
which idol announced to be participating do you feel best fits your ideal type? are they someone you’d like to be paired up with?
why did people always want to know what their ‘ideal type’ would be. did it really make a difference? if you fit wren’s ideal type, it didn’t mean you were meant to be. she firmly believed that people came together organically, and you never ended up with the one you thought it would be. despite her thoughts, she put on a confident smile before answering. “i don’t know most of the male contestants very well, but my ideal type would have to be a hopeless romantic like myself. maybe someone that could take care of me for a change.” she forced a laugh out; if she had learned anything from promotions, it was how to fake a convincing laugh. “the only names on here i know are origin’s king and of course, yuddy.” jerome; the reason she was so tired this morning. silently she prayed that she wouldn’t be paired with him. he knew how to push every one of her buttons and he loved to try it on camera. that was the last thing she needed to deal with.
would you rather be paired with someone you already know or someone you don’t know very well?
this was an easier question, and one she could answer honestly. “oh, someone i don’t know very well, definitely.” that wouldn’t be hard; she only knew two of them. “i’m always open to making new connections, and it could never hurt to have a new friend.” god, that was incredibly cheesy, but she wasn’t entirely sure what they wanted from her at this point. maybe that was just the lack of sleep talking.
what honeymoon destination would you most like to visit with your virtual spouse after you get “married”?
her face naturally lit up at this suggestion. she had seen the show before, though she didn’t watch it regularly, and hadn’t even registered this was something they’d get to do. over the past few years, she hadn’t had any time to do what she wanted; it was always go, go, go. “somewhere relaxing.” a serene look appeared on her face as she dared to close her eyes for a moment. “maybe somewhere with a secluded beach so we could just enjoy our time together and get to know each other.” she had grown tired of big cities over the years; there was too much going on, too much rushing. “really, anywhere with beautiful nature i can appreciate.” living in seoul, she had almost forgotten what green looked like.
the interview finished and she bowed politely to her manager. much to her surprise, he shooed her away and told her to get back to bed. relief flooded over her face as she practically ran out the door, back to her warm bed.
[ARTICLE] MBC ANNOUNCES SPECIAL SUMMER SEASON OF “WE GOT MARRIED”
On June 13, 2017, the producers of variety show “We Got Married” announced their next season will be a special one. While previous seasons of We Got Marred have brought together idols, comedians, actors, and models, most of the show’s most popular couples have been idol pairings. In response to this, the show has teamed up with mega entertainment companies BC Entertainment, Dimensions Entertainment, and Gold Star Media to bring you a special summer season starring only idols and soloists from these companies. Unlike previous seasons, all couples will film at the same time for a shorter season airing multiple times a week. A premiere date has yet to be announced.
ADMIN NOTES:
I’m happy to announce the winner of the event poll I hosted a few weeks ago! We Got Married beat out Roommate for our first ongoing variety show event and things are underway to get kick started soon!
As stated in the original post, this We Got Married event is based on the show. Interested characters will be paired off into couples posing as husband and wife and will be provided weekly or bi-weekly missions, as well as tasks or prompts that must be completed. Events taking place during the show may affect your character’s image. Participation will be limited by the number of each gender that are interested. All characters participating must be 18 or older international age.
Specific details of the length of the ongoing event will depend on how much interest there is, but please be aware that if you sign up, you are expected to be able and willing to fulfill weekly or bi-weekly prompts with your muse’s partner. I’d prefer to have to re-pair as few people as possible.
If you are interested, please fill out this survey here in-character. It’s not too demanding of a survey, but the questions may be used to pair up couples (to some extent) and the answers may be brought up in interviews or for missions. This will be your official entry for the event.
If you have multiple characters, you may submit the survey for as many as you’d like. Please be aware that it is very likely not everyone will be able to participate unless we get an exact wife to husband ratio (since all couples will be wife and husband pairings). If I need to cut down characters, second/third/fourth characters of the exceeding gender will be the first removed and then I will cut in order from latest survey submission to earliest, if necessary.
Points will be available for this event, but even if your muse doesn’t participate (if they’re cut, under eighteen, or you just don’t want them to), they will have the chance to earn points as a guest MC offering their opinions or commentary on the event.
The survey will be closed in approximately a week and pairings will be announced shortly after.
POINTS AVAILABLE:
TBA!
If anything in this post is unclear or you have any questions, please feel free to contact the admin.
Filming for the first episode of We Got Married has begun! Below, you’ll find all ten couples that will be participating in the special summer season. The first episode will revolve around the couples meeting each other for their first official “date” and the exchanging of engagement rings that they will wear until their weddings in a couple of weeks.
Note: The task under the cut is for participants. The commentator task(s) will come later since they will be in reaction to the events of the episode. The points available for this week total 4 points on your points page. Please post the starter for the thread for this week by Sunday, July 30 at 11:59PM EST in the tag #fmdwgm1
Prompt: Without knowing who their partner will be, all participants will arrive to their date location (listed below) and the identity of their future virtual spouse will be revealed. Their only clue to their partner’s identity will be the list they received IF they filmed the pre-task prompt. They will be filmed by a full camera crew at their location and will be expected to interact and continue their date naturally and mostly unscripted, although producers may occasionally prompt conversation topics revolving around promoting current work of the participants or potential drama. The main focus of the dates will be seeing how the couples interact and seeing them complete the missions given to each of them.
Missions: Before the meeting, the husband will be given a secret mission card and a pair of engagement rings, instructing him that both he and his future virtual wife must both be wearing their rings by the end of the date. How he chooses to make that happen is up to him. The wife will be given a secret mission card instructing her to achieve some form of skinship during the date, whether she initiates it or she convinces her partner to do so. Fulfilling these mission cards will give them more favorable circumstances in future episodes.
WEEK ONE: “FIRST DATE”
Admin Note: These only dictate the setting of the date, but if you have any questions, you may send me a message. The locations and couples were paired through random number generator and locations were inspired by those visited in actual We Got Married episodes or ideal date answers in the survey.

Filming for the third episode of We Got Married has begun! The third episode will finally focus on the weddings between all couples.
Note: The tasks under the cut are for participants and commentators. The points available for this week total 5 points for participants and 4 points for commentators on your points page. Please post all tasks you plan to complete for this week by Sunday, August 13 at 11:59PM EST in the tag #fmdwgm3
Additional Admin Note: I apologize for the slight delay in getting this out. Also, please take note of the new, altered pairing of Element’s Jaehyuk and Gal.actic’s Silver.
Prompt: The couples’ weddings will take place throughout the week. All other couples and artists from all companies are invited to attend each wedding if they choose. The weddings will be scheduled at different times so no shoots overlap, but individual guest attendance may depend on other schedules and the desire of the artist and the artist’s company for them to be present at the shoot. The in-game shooting schedule will be as follows, but you are, of course, free to post things whenever you’d like. This schedule has been randomly generated.
Tuesday Morning: Minhyuk & Ruby

Thursday Morning: Taeyong & Eunae
Thursday Evening: Mark & Wren
Friday Morning: Yuddy & Jia
Friday Evening: Jaehyuk & Silver
Saturday Morning: Sian & Yonce
Missions: Individually, the members of the couples will receive mission cards to prepare and give a surprise gift of some sort to their spouse during their wedding filming. They will be filmed on their own practicing or going shopping for these gifts before their wedding.
The wedding guests will be given mission cards to deliver a toast at at least one wedding. This mission card will be given to them by their manager off-camera if they RSVP to any of the wedding shoots.
POINTS AVAILABLE:
FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Total available points: 5 points
+2 point: Present a surprise from your muse to their virtual spouse. This can be poetry, a song, a dance, a material gift, etc. Examples: One, two, three. This can be posted as a self para of at least three hundred words or link with explanation of at least two hundred words. Put some thought into this! Note: If your muse performs a song they say is self-written, it must be something claimed with points or not based on a real life song, to avoid complications.
+2 points: Begin a thread between your muse and another muse set at a wedding filming. This does not necessarily have to be at their own wedding and may be with either your muse’s partner or another muse. It may be on-camera or off-camera before or after the cameras are rolling. The thread must be started and have one reply by each partner by Sunday, August 13 at 11:59PM EST to qualify for points. An open starter will not count for points.
+1 point: Post your character’s self-written vows of at least fifty words or more.
FOR COMMENTATORS/WEDDING GUESTS:
Total available points: 4 points
+ 2 points: Begin a thread between your muse and another muse set at a wedding filming. This can be with a muse getting married or with another guest. It may be on-camera or off-camera before or after the cameras are rolling. The thread must be started and have one reply by each partner by Sunday, August 13 at 11:59PM EST to qualify for points. An open starter will not count for points.
+ 1 point: Write a wedding toast of fifty words or more from your muse to one of the couples or partners. The tone can be whatever fits your muse (emotional, comedic, etc.), but it must be kept broadcast appropriate. This can be posted as a self-para or as the text of the toast alone.
+1 point: Your muse is given a 30000 won budget by their company to buy a wedding gift to present to a label mate who is getting married to showcase inner-company closeness on camera. If your muse wishes to exceed this amount, they must use their own money. Post this gift with a self-para of at least two hundred words or a link and explanation of at least one hundred words.
Filming for the second episode of We Got Married has begun! The second episode will focus on planning for the couples’ weddings which will take place next week. The couples’ ability to compromise and communicate will be the main challenge for this episode.
Note: The tasks under the cut are for participants and commentators. The points available for this week total 5 points for participants and 4 points for commentators on your points page. Please post all tasks you plan to complete for this week by Sunday, August 6 at 11:59PM EST in the tag #fmdwgm2
Additional Admin Note: Since a thread is not required this week, you’re encouraged to continue your threads from last week. Points for completing the missions in that thread are still available. This week’s tasks can be completed through OOC plotting, but if you would prefer, they may be worked out in-character in a thread.
Prompt: All couples will be planning their wedding this week, with a focus on five different aspects of the wedding planning process. Again, the show will be mostly unscripted save for occasional prompts and suggestions by the director. All wedding choices must stay within a reasonable budget for the production team and fit the time restraints of a week to two weeks between this episode’s filming and their wedding.
Missions: The couples will receive a shared mission card this week with the very simple prompt to come to an agreement on what they would like their wedding to look like for the five aspects listed below:
Wedding dress/tux
Menu
Decorations/flowers
Venue/location
Wedding rings
POINTS AVAILABLE:
FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Reminder: So that everyone can fully develop their first date threads, a thread between partners is optional this week and not worth points.
Total available points: 5 points
+ 2 points: Create an aesthetic moodboard or a pinterest/weheartit board for your muse’s personal ideal wedding. This is not bound by the show’s budget or the preference of their partner and will not be something aired on the show. This task is more focused on the development of your character’s desires and preferences. A self-para of 400 words or more will also suffice if it explores the same topics.
+2 points: Create an aesthetic moodboard or a pinterest/weheartit board for the wedding aesthetic your muse and their partner decide on. This may be completed through a post by each partner or one post worked on by both partners. Considerations like a reasonable budget and the restrictions of the show (the wedding must take place in Seoul or within a half hour’s trip of Seoul) should be noted.
+1 point: Complete first episode reflection interview (participant section only), which can be found here.
FOR COMMENTATORS:
Total available points: 4 points
+2 points: Complete first episode reflection interview (commentator section only), which can be found here.
+ 2 points: Create an aesthetic moodboard or a pinterest/weheartit board for your muse’s personal ideal wedding. Since your muse is not a participant, this will not affect anything on the show. This task is more focused on the development of your character’s desires and preferences. A self-para of 400 words or more will also suffice if it explores the same topics.
Filming for the fourth episode of We Got Married has begun! This episode will be filmed while the couples are on their overseas honeymoons. The episode will be aired in two different parts two days in a row due to the amount of footage. Some of the footage that doesn’t make the cut will be released as online special content.
Note: The tasks under the cut are for participants and commentators. The points available for this week total 4 points for participants and 3 points for commentators on your points page. Please post all tasks you plan to complete for this week by Sunday, August 20 at 11:59PM EST in the tag #fmdwgm4.
Prompt: Thanks to travel sponsorships and an increased vewership for the special summer season, the eight couples will be split between two top honeymoon destinations: Bali, Indonesia and Santorini, Greece. All couples will be on their honeymoons from Monday, August 14, to Wednesday, August 16. Any currently promoting spouses will have prerecorded all performances for the duration of their trip before leaving. A large portion of their trip will be spent on camera, but they will be granted free time each day to do as they please. A detailed schedule of the Bali couples’ trip can be found HERE and a detailed schedule of the Santorini couples’ trip can be found HERE. The locations for each couple can be found below, once again, as determined by random number generator (with slight alterations to split characters up played by the same mun as much as possible):
Santorini: King & Luna, Minji & Chanmi, Taeyong & Eunae, Mark & Wren
Missions: After their first day of filming, couples will come back to their hotel rooms to a mission card telling them to share the bed for the night. Cameras are installed in the room to get a proper shot, but they will be told off-camera by the producers that the cameras will film until 3AM, at which point the couples are able to split up and one may sleep on the couch if they’re unable to sleep while in the same bed. (Examples of this situation on We Got Married can be found here, here, here, and here, for reference.)
POINTS AVAILABLE:
FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Total available points: 4 points
+2 points: Begin a thread between your muse and their partner. This may be during their filming schedule or off-camera. The thread must be started and have one reply by each partner by Sunday, August 20 at 11:59PM EST to qualify for points.
+2 points: Begin a thread between your muse and a muse from a different couple in the same location taking place during non-filming time. The thread must be started and have one reply by each partner by Sunday, August 20 at 11:59PM EST to qualify for points. .
FOR COMMENTATORS
Total available points: 3 points
+1 point: Complete the third episode reflection interview, which can be found here.
+2 points: Write a self-para of your muse filming a vlog. This can be for one specific couple or a general one for all of the couples. It can include general thoughts on last week’s weddings and the show so far, well-wishes for the honeymoon, miscellaneous thoughts, or, if directed to a specific couple, a message of support. All vlogs will be uploaded as part of this episode’s special online content, and vlogs addressed to a specific couple will also be shown to that couple on their honeymoon and their reactions will be filmed. The self-para should be at least 350 words.
Here’s everyone’s first task for our We Got Married Summer Season event! The task requires you to answer a series of questions in-character about expectations and feelings about the show. The questions may be answered in para format or in dialogue-only format. I recommend everyone involved track the tag #fmdwgm, as all information and tasks pertaining to the event will be tagged there.
Note: Completing this task is worth one point on your points page, but there will also be a special reward at the end of the event for both the participants and commentators who are most involved in the event. If you plan to complete this task, please post it by Saturday, July 22 at noon EST in the tag #fmdwgmpre
Prompt: Whether as a soon-to-be virtual spouse or guest commentator, your muse has been given a ten minute assignment in their schedule to film something for We Got Married. They will be pulled aside into one of their company’s practice rooms where a chair and camera are set up against the wall. Your muse will be provided with the list of participating idols and will be asked the following questions by one of their managers (who is off-screen) and their answers will be filmed. All footage will be sent to the editors of We Got Married and will possibly be aired during the first episode or throughout the season. Please note that couples have already been paired up and the answers to these questions will have no effect on whom anyone will be matched with.
Questions For Participants (”virtual spouses”)
Which idol announced to be participating do you feel best fits your ideal type? Are they someone you’d like to be paired up with?
Would you rather be paired with someone you already know or someone you don’t know very well?
What honeymoon destination would you most like to visit with your virtual spouse after you get “married”?
Questions For Commentators (non-”virtual spouses”)
Which two idols announced to be participating would you most like to see be paired up? Why? / OR / What’s your ideal type? If you were participating in We Got Married, which announced participant do you think would best fit your ideal type? (You can choose one of these two questions for your muse to be asked/answer. They may answer both, but the task’s point value will remain the same.)
Are you more interested in seeing which couples have a lot of chemistry or which ones clash?
Are any of your friends participating in We Got Married? If yes, do you think they’ll make good husbands or wives? If no, do you think you would have made a good spouse on the show?
